lol, he has everything except the mindset to be a team player, which is necessary to be a role player.

It was Jalen who is a draft bust, Dillon Brooks who was replaced already by DFS, the number 10 pick, and some second round picks.

That's about as close to "nothing of value" as it gets.

This is actually not bad. You can trade those picks for like a 25-30th type 1st. And Cam was taken with the 20th pick and already 2 years into his rookie contract. So this trade is essentially valuing him similarly to where he was drafted all things considered.

I am more bullish on Cam than most so I am disappointed in the trade, but its a decent value that Stone got back

Man, the Wizards really love these type of players: Andray Blatche, Nick Young, Kyle Kuzma, Jordan Poole, now Cam Whitmore.

Shoot-first wildcards who think they’re better than they are. Loads of talent, but can’t fit into the structure of quality teams, so they get tossed around and end up as the “star” on losing teams.

Crap return, but he was clearly a negative influence on team morale. I'm ok with it. Hopefully, we don't regret it, but I doubt we do.

It is just odd that Ime didn't have much of problem playing him in his rookie year than his second year, what changed other than the team being better but his rookie year the team was a Play In contender.

That is also the mystery of what changed in just 1 Year......it almost felt like Cam and Ime had an altercation privately.

Or is Ime's philosophy if you don't improve substantially, I get rid of you in your second year under me, Jalen Green for instance.

How or why is that 2nd Year so important to Udoka?

And why is he not getting rid of FVV after the second year....

    Oh, really? That's strange.

Literally everything you said was evident to Jalen Green.

You sure about that? Because whenever Cam was given the opportunity, he proved the opposite.

Right. You could look at every roster and find examples of this- the 76'ers and OKC have plenty of wasted first round draft picks.
What exactly is your point here?
Are the Rockets contenders right now?
Do they still have a core of young players who can turn into significant NBA players?
Do they still have a boatload of first round picks with high value?
Do they have a head coach that NBA players want to play for?

    Oh.

    Forgive me.

I figured a #10 pick which would never see the light of day on the court.

And Dillon Brooks, who was essentially replaced by Kevin Durant.

    Were understandable decisions.

Sorry big boy, I guess most of us can use our brain around here, but not all.

And the mindset can definitely come with time as he matures.

HAHAHHA of course someone pining over a loser like JG, has to ask this question.

When did he prove that? Literally any time he was given the minutes, he was better than JG.

    That's not hard to understand.

But I guess I can see that a clown pining over a loser like JG in their username, has trouble figuring this out.

Can you get lost to the Suns forum now? Your pathetic namesake doesn't play here anymore (THANK GOD). We're all hoping his equally zero IQ fans take a hike with him.

I wish they were equally good at evaluating players BEFORE drafting them.

Wasted first round draft picks. Yes, that's exactly my point.

Have other teams done the same? Of course. No team has perfect draft track records. But just because other teams make mistakes doesn't mean it's not disappointing to see our team make mistakes.

He visibly dogged it half the time he was on the court - I could see this and I'm 1000 miles away.

If it's James Harden looking immobile on defense while playing 38 minutes in a b2b at age 35 it's one thing.

Cam making a Cameo vs whatever crap team and instead of going all out - standing around and looking extremely disinterested? So much so that I can see it?

I don't think it's just udorka I think every coach would be like "man **** this guy"
