Most people who put up an ops like Cole’s in AA reach the majors. But almost no one who strikes out in 38% of their pa in AA reaches the majors. If you want to be overly optimistic you can look at George Springer’s AA numbers, he struck out 29.7% of the time and put up similar walk and power numbers. If Cole can get his k rate down under 30% while hitting for this much power he will start to project as much more likely to have major league value.
Kevin Alvarez has gotten all the love down in the DSL and deservedly so, but Anderson Arenaimo continues to plug away for the Orange team. Arenaimo is 3-4 with two runs scored and a stolen base and is now on a 7-game hitting streak (he appeared in yesterday's game but did not have a plate appearance).
The top third of the Orange team's order today (Arenaimo, Juan Rojas, and Luis Millan) all went 3-4 and scored 5 of the 6 runs in their 6-4 win over the Braves.
Twine Palmer allowed a hit and struck out five over three scoreless for Fayetteville. He needed 39 pitches (28 strikes) to get those nine outs, as Fayetteville is keeping his workload down after missing about six weeks between May and June.

What am I missing on his delivery? Looks pretty normal to me. Not overly violent and not out of control.
