Oral Herpshiser has been at this bullshit for six years. Someone posted this tweet of Preston Wilson calling him out for it five years ago.

Funny quote from a 1997 article about Orel cheating during the ALCS.

"I've been around Orel three years," said Ogea, beginning what everyone expected would be an endorsement of his teammate's unimpeachable character. But then he stunned his audience by saying, "He cheats. But everyone else does, too. He showed me how to cheat. But he said I couldn't use it until I was about 35. So if I stay around that long, I get the privilege to cheat."

Sorry, it's a long highlight video due to showing all 18 runs scoring...

What's lost in this that McCullers and George only gave up one run. We would have won with Altuve alone.

The most important thing for a manager is their ability to get the team to play hard. Joe is great as long as Altuve likes him. The team is definitely playing hard. Just let Miller and Murphy make all the pitching decisions and I'm happy.

Not surprising. Their (arguably) most famous pitcher does nothing but blame, whine, and cry all the time.

Caratini has 8 less RBIs than Yanier (35-27) in ~100 less ABs

If you project Matthews out to Whitcomb's innings at 2B in the minors they are the same player, except Whitcomb has more range. Matthews isn't good a defense either.

In fact if you project Mattthews PA out to match Whitcomb's in the minors they are pretty much the same player (Matthews more SB, walks and K; Whitcomb more HR and total bases).

Whitcomb is 3 years older and has been in AAA for 3 seasons. Matthews has been in AAA for 83 games.
