Funny how we after we stopped arms shipment to Ukraine Russia launched the largest air attack of the war to date.

Weird how the biggest dipshits claimed Trump would get Putin to stop if we suddenly stopped shipments @El_Conquistador

Trump served up a deal to Zelensky on a silver platter. Zelensky missed his chance -- he got stubborn, made a scene in the White House, and refused peace. And here we stand. Zelensky sacrificed his country for his own ego. Shame on him.

You really can't help people who refuse your help. And this is precisely the case here. It's a shame that the Ukrainian people are left to suffer.

Remember all of this was a war that Biden and Anthony Blinken chose to ignite. By pushing for Ukraine to join NATO, they needlessly provoked Putin. That was a colossal mistake... and $200 billion of American funding commitments later, things are NOT looking good for Ukraine. All avoidable. Yet another case of a bungled foreign policy approach by American Democrats.

Do the supporters of Ukraine ever think Ukraine might have been better off waiving their right to join NATO rather than undergoing the war which they are not wining?

Before the war started both France and Germany put in writing they would veto any NATO application. The idea that Putin invaded Ukr bcz he was worried about UKR joining nato is braindead and a lie.

    Ukr was never joining NATO

Interesting. link? If so how meaningful was this with the US and at the time of the Russian attack with Biden and the US adamantly opposed to any negotiations on this. Consider in light of what agency that Germany and France have exhibited when opposed by the US.

Much as I oppose Trump give him the prize if he can get lasting peace in Ukraine and Palestine. No Noble Peace Prizes before performance as the anticipatory one for the newly elected Obama back in the day did mot workout too well.

You keep repeating the same garbage MAGA talking points. Life lesson. If you're ever on the same side as MAGATs you're on the wrong side my friend.

Ukraine was never going to join nato. This war was aboit rebuilding the Soviet union. Had nothing to do with NATO

Are you on drugs? Lasting peace in Gaza? His plan is building trump resorts in Gaza. How the hell is dispelling 2 million Palestinians lasting peace for new resorts ?

He bombed Iran for no reason and killed hundreds while accomplishing nothing. You want him rewarded for starting a war for no reason?

    About that arms shipment...

The Defense Department held up a shipment of U.S. weapons for Ukraine this week over what officials said were concerns about its low stockpiles. But an analysis by senior military officers found that the aid package would not jeopardize the American military’s own ammunition supplies, according to three U.S. officials.

The move to halt the weapons shipment blindsided the State Department, members of Congress, officials in Kyiv and European allies, according to multiple sources with knowledge of the matter.

Critics of the decision included Republicans and Democrats who support aiding Ukraine’s fight against Russia. A leading House Democrat, Adam Smith of Washington, said it was disingenuous of the Pentagon to use military readiness to justify halting aid when the real reason appears to be simply to pursue an agenda of cutting off American aid to Ukraine.

“We are not at any lower point, stockpile-wise, than we’ve been in the 3½ years of the Ukraine conflict,” Smith, the ranking member of the House Armed Services Committee, told NBC News.

Smith said that his staff has “seen the numbers” and, without going into detail, that there was no indication of a shortage that would justify suspending aid to Ukraine.

Suspending the shipment of military aid to Ukraine was a unilateral step by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, according to three congressional aides and a former U.S. official familiar with the matter. It was the third time Hegseth on his own has stopped shipments of aid to Ukraine, the sources said. In the two previous cases, in February and in May, his actions were reversed days later.

Not sure "pathetic" is the word I'd use there.

It hasn't been talked about, but with ICE's increased funding I'm anxiously awaiting the roundup and deportation of all the criminal-affiliated Russians (they love tattoos, should be easy).

I expect it to happen just any day now.

Horrified at the thought of more formal diplomatic contact between Russia and the US? Fortunately we had this during the Cod War and the Cuban Missile Crisis.
It is pathetic that you have no fear that a war between US and Russia could lead to a nuclear war.

With regard to a reported claim from a German President claiming he told Putin there would be no NATO for Ukraine for 30 years. How realistic was it to think Putin would believe this given the history of broken NATO
    promises on NATO expansion.

The supporters of Ukraine not being conquered?

Putin was always going to try and conquer Ukraine. You just want to ignore history because that would mean that the Soviets and Russia are imperialist too and more brutal than the US at it.

Naturally, when Netanyahu — currently facing international war crimes charges — nominated Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize, reactions on social media were swift and scathing.

“Netanyahu nominating Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize is like Benito Mussolini nominating Adolf Hitler for a Lifetime Achievement in Human Rights,” one post read. “Shameless, surreal, and an insult to the very concept of peace.”

“A wanted war criminal is nominating the convicted felon for the Nobel Peace Prize!? Grotesque is the only word to describe it,” one person wrote. “Trump and Netanyahu are still trying to fool those stupid enough to believe them that they want peace.”

“You can’t bomb your way to peace just like Trump and Netanyahu can’t genocide their way to a Nobel Peace Prize,” said another post, summing up the mood.

“Let that sink in,” one user replied. “War criminal and genocide perpetrator Netanyahu has nominated his financier, Donald Trump, for the Nobel Peace Prize.”

Another post perhaps put it best: “The circus is in town.”

The UN Human Rights Office reports that nearly 70% of verified deaths in Gaza are women and children.

Studies have estimated that approximately 80% of Palestinians killed are civilians.
