Got it so basically his post January 2025 performance you're touting is basically pure garbage - G league stuff. Meanwhile Jalen Green got a WC player of the week in January 2025 and again in March 2025.
Not in favor of trading Whitmore (the REAL Cam in Houston is untradeable, in the best way) *now* for anything other than a player who can help or a 1rd pick. I'm all for giving him the chance to fill a role we will need and seeing how things play out. HOWEVAH (SA Smith voice)...if it led to all of the Whitmore threads/talk being moved/locked/consolidated into 1 thread in the Dish....I can see the good in that. The amount of keyboarding being spent on this guy is ridiculous.
Sure. But whatever he did in the NBA, it's literally orders of magnitude better than anything Cam Whitmore and his very limited stat padding that you're peddling here today amounts to
My guess is this is probably accurate. Even still, you don't want to give up on young talent like that too soon, especially when you've already traded out of the draft. Cam is probably done in Houston, but man I hope not.
yeah, I mean as a fan, I’d like to see how this plays out. Give him another year or 2, see what happens. But I guess I’m just preparing myself and assuming the franchise has seen enough to give up raw talent for some 2nd rounders. Personally, why not hold on to him? I’d rather have him hang around (assuming he’s not a cancer in the locker room) than trade him off for nothing.
comparing our bench players to opposing starters in the last 3 games to make biased posts is absolutely wild. Well how did Cam play compared to Jalen in last 3 games of regular season? Jalen averaged 4.7 points on 2/8 shooting with 20% FGM and 28% TS. if you go according to those last 3 games and think Cam was bad Jalen would be absolute turd.
What are you basing this on? He was unplayable last year? Are you saying he has more potential or talent?
Wrong, both Damian Lillard and Yordan Alvarez are both Cancer Sun with Aries Moon combos, exactly like Cam Whitmore. I've never heard reports of either of these players being bad in the locker room. Please, tell me which athletes you were referring to? Or were you just making things up?
HYPOTHETICALLY, and assuming Jock has not yet been officially waved goodbye err waived: Jock - Ayo, transaction #1 Cam - FRP, transaction #2 just…HYPOTHETICALLY
Perhaps, but not nearly the same conversation as that, but I am about to go watch the BEST current Cam on TV. .291 and trending upward ain't bad! DD
