No doubt, I appreciate that he gave in the effort more often than not even when he didn't fully execute.

Drama ensued if he keeps on going like this.

Udoker is sort of a tyrant if push comes to shove.

Durant has sort of a Beta personality as well, maybe he defers. In the meanwhile, he loves being on Twitter and become defensive.

That's what stuck out to me. He may be surprised to find he's on the team that plays exactly like the ones he doesn't like and they brought him here to be even more iso-oriented and carry the team's scoring the hard way.

Hope Udoka is ready, it would be lovely to see him care about offense as much as he does the defense.

Didn’t they blow a 3-1 lead to Lebron without Kd?

I don't think he said OKC runs a good offense (like Indian), but rather that they have a guy who excels at the midrange, and it's silly to force a play (running down the clock just to get a layup or 3-point shot). OKC shows what a midrange shot is worth.

He said Indiana runs an elite offense (organized chaos) like OKC runs elite defense: read and react to each other. Nothing is set, but it's organized. Set plays are too easy to defend and too easy to attack. FVV said that the Rockets' defense doesn't know what they're doing, it's a form of organized chaos itself.

I think you're talking about a different part. When they were talking about where the league is headed, he profiled multiple actions and on-the-fly actions employed by the Pacers and the Thunder. With the Thunder he was for example talking about what Dort and Jaylen Williams do when teams shut off their primary action - and that they instinctively know how to do it due to good tactical coaching and preparation.

The part where they speak about forcing a play (where they spoke about DFS) is separate. There they also laughed at the idea of role players taking midrange jumpers. Which is something we do very often. They mentioned later that role players need to be able to make 3's to space the floor for guys like him when he uses the threat of the midrange to cause the defense to collapse on him.

LeBron wasn't going to be the undisputed GOAT, anyone that watched both of the play knows that it wouldn't be clear cut.

Kevin Durant was in GS for only 3 seasons.

If anyone had their legacy hurt, it was James Harden who would have one title for sure, and very well may have won a second against the Raptors.

yes, that part was very profound. Both KD and LBJ poo-poo-ed the stupid Morey-ball ‘threes and layups" concept. I think we can put a nail in that coffin. What a bizzarre era that was: Dork Elvis, a self-promoting MBA with no idea about playing hoops, and his adoring hordes of nerdy bloggers, hyping all this BS, with fancy pseudo-scientific jargon….

Bottom line, low-key Presti got his ring with a mid-range TopDog in SGA, while that dumb fat idiot who caused all of us the traumatic 0-27 with his moronic dogma is stuck with a broken-down roster in Philly. Good!

And to think how media types were fellating him like some kind of a visionary who’s re-invented the game… Eff that sleazebag!!!

I get the frustration. TAKE the open shot! Nope, pull it out for a 3. Clank.

I'm honestly really happy we got Durant, I wanted Harden for the same reason - Ime doesn't need to have offensive creativity, he doesn't really even need an offensive coach, all he needs to do is listen to the suggestions from one of the greatest scorers who ever lived on how to get the team buckets. I feel like Ime can do that easy enough, despite what so many people on here say about his supposed ego, Ime's gonna respect the vastly superior offensive mind I think.

The league has been very Morey'ed out the past 10 years. Last year's Celtics champs was a Morey wet dream. Morey lost the short term battle of 1-step ahead advantage on the league, but won the overall war. The issue is the league caught up to Morey. And its been evolvements after.

Morey has said he is accepting of midrange shots IF the player can make them. He was ok with CP3 shooting them. It just takes a great exception like CP3 or KD (But he wasnt for Carmelo, so in fairness maybe he wasnt so consistent with that claim)

I hope so but I'm pretty skeptical considering all 3 seasons he's been a HC his team's TS% and general offensive play has been underwhelming relative to his rosters.

Durant also said in the interview it's not his job to do the coaching, he just expects them to tell him that they want from him.

I think the more likely scenario is difficult shots for KD and we try to use our size to grab misses. Why I'm happy to have KD is because he will call it out if it's not intelligent. Ime has to raise his game or hire an assistant or something, we're all-in now.

I just dont like Lebron James in anything other than him doing charity. Thats it. When it comes to basketball he is a snake. He's been trying for 20 years to destroy MJ in the media. He pays people to control the media. The refs give him any call or swallow the whistle for any teams he's on. He's just disgusting to me and I cant watch anything that he's in. I cant wait till he retires.
