We aren't going to get what he is worth. He should absolutely be worth a late first all day long, but I fully expect a worse return. Trading him for less will be idiotic, but it is what it is.

Bro hasn't been given the opportunity to showcase except for in the G League. The whole league knows he's a hooper who's just playing in a defensive focused squad with Ime. I'd put his value at Christian Braun, which is about right were we picked him up. He would be averaging 15+ ppg if he got minutes.

The answer: Whatever we can get to get him off this team.

I liked the kid, but the more I think about it, the ball I don't. Bad attitude, bad defense, and an adult cry baby.

He will be filler in a Sengun for GA trade.

GA isn't going anywhere. They signed Turner and waived Lillard just to keep him.

Just like in Uncle Rico's situation, we'll never know what could've been with Cam Whitmore because of a an egotistical coach who refuses to let the cream rise to the top!

Tell me Uncle Rico doesn't have the same throwing motion and accuracy as Mahomes!!

    Identical ....

Cam's talent is far beyond Bones. No one trading for Hyland would ever think of him as a potential star.

I would hold onto him if it is just a late 1st rounder. A large chance he becomes nothing. Better chance he's a player than the average late 1st rounder.

I would agree that he will be better than a late first rounder, but everything is not black and white. Cam could get minutes and suck, which would tank his trade value even more. He may be needed in a trade to give us better cap flexibility. He may have requested a trade and the Rockets realize he isn’t a fit for their team first mentality that they are doing him a solid. As seen before, even crappy draft picks can sometimes swing a trade with a desperate team. I think Stone’s dealings this off-season has given me more confidence in his vision.

He has already proven he doesn't suck he shot 40% from 3 from December on last year......he is a high octane aggressive player, the VERY least he would be is instant offense off the bench, and as a starter, he is 25PPG as a plug and play.

He pushes the tempo, he is a huge SG at 6'7"....

Dude is going to explode and we let him go because our coach can't handle guys with strong egos that want to play.

Well looks like half the folks think we should be getting back a late 1st rounder and 25% think two 2nd rounders. So that’s 75% that think we should get back meaningful compensation. Let’s hope that happens and that he’s not traded to a western conference rival for “flexibility”.

Think he's still worth a late first from a contender that wants to take on a high risk player. Maybe a couple of early second rounders.

Until he beats his girlfriend or throws soup at the coaching staff he won't go down to a single second round pick. A team that has a year to f*ck around should take a flyer on him. One of Washington, Boston, Toronto, Milwaukee, Utah would be smart to take a chance in exchange for a late first.

I just hope we don't bring him to training camp while he's still acting like a victim. People with his issues need years to work on them and it can't be solved with a basketball coach. Would be stupid to hold onto him as his value declines.

Cam, Nate 2 2nd round picks to NOP for Alvarado. Fulfills Cam’s trade request. Adds another PG option better than Holiday. Saves about 1.5 M in cap space.
