He absolutely didn't go around, lol. But after that bullshit we just witnessed. Let's just say he did.
True...and it's a absolutely ridiculous place to actually play baseball. A pro lacrosse team would fit better. Sorry for being argumentative again.
Agreed… it’s beautiful…. And they should just make the dimensions normal. Just because the ball travels doesn’t mean human legs can run faster (or fly) and chase down every single fly ball in that massive hellscape of an outfield. Singles, doubles, triples (bloops everywhere)….. far more damaging over every season as it’s not the same parameters in any other setting.
- season-high 18 games above 500 - 12 consecutive non-losing series - leverage guys get much needed rest - Cam looks clutch and like an RBI machine - Hunter's first win since 6/1 (was leading the league)
So it begs the question, what is the record for most consecutive non-losing series for the Astros? We must be getting really close.
It didn't help that the Stros had Cam standing just short of the warning track playing "no-doubles" with a 3-run lead in the 9th
Yeah who TF cares about doubles at that point. The hilarious thing is the first one ended up being a double, lol.
35-16 in their last 51 games. That's insane. How have we done it, you ask? 14-2 in our last 16 one run games during this stretch, including winning our last 12 straight. We might be approaching an MLB record.
If you're Dana, do you go all in at the deadline to keep this record afloat while reinforcements make their return? Please heal up Yordan. I know its more than just "suck it up and play" Just please get healthy
Astros have played .607 baseball since the 12-24 start last season. That's the equivalent of a 98 win pace for a season.
Cam Smith has batted in the cleanup spot for the last 6 games. He has 7 RBIs and an OPS over 1.100. Nothing is too big for this young man. He is mature way beyond his years. And he's a plus defender in RF just like Tucker.
