It was, the government invested in the development of it, that is literally the type of things governments should do, invest in the countries future at levels private industry can't.

You chose your moniker correctly at least.

this brainless buffoon doesn’t even know what’s going on…he’s just the low IQ face of this movement while people behind the scenes try to push through their devilish ideas

Trump is just the useful POS with no morals that gets them votes

Ezra Klein's podcast about the bill was interesting. Trump's populist instincts - preserving Medicaid, Social Security, etc. - run afoul of Republican orthodoxy that demands tax cuts for the wealthy. He, as a rich man, also likes tax cuts.

Turns out there isn't a lot of spending that people want to see cut because there isn't that much waste. It's why DOGE was a sideshow. If a society wants things like health insurance and social security then it has to raise revenue, via taxes, instead of tripling-down on trickle-down.

They need to touch all of those, plus the military.

There is no better way to raise overall tax revenue than to put money in people's pockets and grow the economy
. Just like what happened with Trump's first tax cuts in 2017. It's a proven formula... and the partisan CBO refuses to acknowledge the economic growth this bill will bring... and btw the CBO's track record of projections is atrocious.

Or did you think the only way to grow tax revenue is to increase the rate? Wow if so.

    GOOD DAY

Ive always disproven this lie by posting gdp growth post 2017 tax cut scam.....2019 had lower gdp than 2017. Your braindead propaganda doesn't work.

@El_Conquistador I'll wager you the USA wont see 4% gdp growth next year. If it does I'll stop posting for 4 years and if doesn't you quit posting?

You claimed we'd have 5% so I'm giving you a break
