Evangelical are the Cable Guy to Jews . from a theological perspective, they should be re-labled as Ziontologist to clear confusion, a bit of Bible, source based of fictions and tons of politics, relatively speaking newly intrduced elements that menced Zionisim to Christianity in 18th century *Bert Ehrmen
Seems like an efficient use of resources. I am sure they have many Hamas targets in Gaza, and there is no reason not to hit them on their way back from a mission in Iran if they have munitions left.
*IF* this is true, it really makes no sense at all. Saving fuel by flying to Gaza instead of straight to their bases in Israel? Why are air-interceptor aircraft carrying bombs or air-to-ground missiles?
It saves fuel by not landing, taking off again, bombing Gaza, and then landing again. Also, they probably carry air to ground weapons in the event they have to engage ground targets (like AAA, SAMs, troops shooting at them, etc.). What makes you think they were attacking innocent Palestinians, not Hamas?
Yeah, none of that checks out. 1. They wasted more fuel and shortened their "time on station" by hauling that stuff to Iran and back than they would have just flying bombing missions straight to Gaza...they obviously have no problems with doing that. 2. That's not how air-to-air interdiction and patrol works at all. They whole "we had extra stuff and decided to mess up Gaza some more for convenience" is b.s.
Because they've done this many MANY times before, Im sorry but Im not talking to someone who's crazy.
Air to air interdiction missions over hostile territory carry air to ground munitions all the time (sometimes only air to ground munitions because those planes are flying wild weasel missions covering the interceptors). Time on station is for CAS or CAP, not interdiction. Interception missions don't need to linger.
