    EVERY SINGLE MOTHERF***** time.
Anyone else that says otherwise is a Alphie only fan boy or on the short bus.

Not sure what stats you’re looking at.
According to NBA.com, Alp had the 3rd best defensive rating on the team for players logging real minutes. Behind only Adams and Jabari. Ahead of Amen.
We’re going to disagree on athleticism, while he’s not elite in terms of explosiveness he is far from a poor athlete by any traditional metrics.

You’re just flat out wrong about the defensive side this season.

Anyone that wants to gut this team for a 3 year window to just start over isn’t a Rockets fan, or on the short bus

Are you better than to use short bus in context for a passive aggressive Greek player.

Milwaukee is insane. Giannis is great but it’s not worth mortgaging your future for a likely run at maybe one more 2nd round run in the next 5 years.

The smart and obvious play would be to keep Giannis if he’s okay staying but don’t hesitate for a second to put him on the market and extract a kings ransom for him in order to rebuild the way OKC, Rox, etc. have shown you can do over a few seasons if your star wants to walk.

Turner or not… the Bucks aren’t good enough to win even in the East. Period.

They can keep looking, Bucks are making moves to win and I’m sure Giannis will value that. He’s not going anywhere and so is this Bucks team. If I were Bucks owner I’d accept you cannot compete and just trade him for a stud young wing and lots of picks. Start over.

If it’s Sengun and Eason, personally I’m not doing more than the Suns picks along with them.

Exactly ! I didn’t want KD if we were giving up the farm for him . What was originally reported we were giving up all of PHX picks plus players .

Give it up. Giannis isn’t going anywhere. He wants to play PG like he did last year late in the season and has said so. The Bucks have made a lot of moves with this in mind. They have signed Turner, Micic, Gary Trent Jr., Taushan Prince, Gary Harris, Jericho Sims. Giannis and Amen are destined for the same role, Giannis will be the Buck’s PG this year and Amen will transition into that role for the Rockets over this season and next. Giannis was absolutely at his best in that role last year. I wouldn’t be surprised if both the Rockets(via sign and trade) and Bucks have a few more signings in mind. Turner, Prince, Trent, Harris are solid contributors. The Bucks will be very competitive in a weak East this year.

I don't remember Celtics fans being pissed that they traded their young players for 30+yr olds KG and Allen. Nor Lakers fans when they traded their entire young core for AD to build around him and 34yr old LeBron. If the Rockets do make this trade and win a title in the next 3 years, this entire place will be calling for genius of Stone and Tilman.

@bilaal14 referring to people who don't want to trade a 22 year old allstar, albeit for an MVP candidate, as developmentally challenged is unbecoming. Additionally, Sengun is not soft. I would personally do the swap, but for all of the talk from Jalen Only Fans about Green being the next SGA/Haliburton traded, I think Amen (more so) and Sengun are MUCH more likely to be guys that the Rockets get some egg on their face by trading away, when their upside is so obvious. Sengun took a huge offensive step backwards last season, but his defense was shockingly near great and he was anchoring a top 5 defense all year. He still made an allstar team and was the first one out for third team all nba. If Alperen finally gets the three point shot (just to mid 30s) (it won't be for lack of try) and his midrange (flamingo)/ floater/post up/ creation levels go back to similar production we saw in year three, he's all nba next season and will only be 23. There is a world where Alperen becomes a perennial all-star and his age + contract make him even more valuable. I'm with you, you go for the championship now because their is a visible window, but i don't think it's a 100% obvious proposition to trade a 22 year old allstar even for Giannis.

KPJ is not going to start. Giannis is their new PG. He just talked about it and it’s his main reason for staying in Milwaukee. He said it has been his plan for a while. People only talk about the Bucks signing Turner, but they have been very busy. Harris, Trent Jr, Prince are all better than KPJ. Even if KPJ starts he will probably only get around 20 mins a game.

It’s all moot. Giannis does not want to play center, he wants to play Pg and Amen already has that covered in the future.

I wasn’t aware. What did this look like? Hakeem in the post distributing? Giannis in high post like Jokic?

Sure you do it when it's apple to apples. But it's just not. With the new tax rules in place and the second apron trading for Giannis really limits all our flexibility. It's hard to build a team around two stars now. Our youth/depth is needed to fill in the gaps because we won't have money to sign any players. It makes us winning with Giannis and KD very unlikely. Timing isn't great because I'm not sure than when Amen becomes a super star that Giannis would still be a good player,

Different times different luxury tax rules. And the Celtics weren't the 2nd best team in the west so they had to make moves. And we already got KD

Yeah, I didn't quite realize the ramifications of their Lillard decision until reading articles about it last night. The stretch provision pays Dame out over the course of five seasons. $22,000,000 of dead money on the books. Turner at $27,000,000. So they're basically paying about $50,000,000 to have Miles Turner on the team and thus keep Giannis.

As you say, they should have just blown that shizzlenit up, traded Giannis for a boatload and a half while they can get it.

I'm too lazy to check. Who OWNS the Bucks, anyway? They're probably paying three head coaches now (Doc + the last two), Dame's stretch, etcetera. It isn't a basketball Mecca like NY or LA or even Chicago, where MJ's memory remains strong enough to still sell tickets.

The Bucks are the equivalent of the sailor who suddenly gets 24-hour shore leave on some Pacific island. After the fact, looking at an empty wallet: "Did I get robbed?" "No, dude, you kept buying drinks for everyone. We weren't going to stop you, hell. Drinks and poon, poon and drinks."
