We absolutely wouldn't have got Capela if going for Giannis when we also have Amen. We'd have hunted a shooting big.
Hopefully Cam not involved and just Jock Finny & Clint are clear fill ins for Durant, Tari, and Adams injury / load management. I could see Adams and Clint agreeing to split minutes to help keep both healthy Maybe we didn’t go after a guard cause we believe in Cam lol. That FVV, Amen, Reed guard rotation gonna hurt to watch at times if that’s our plan
Why are a lot of people assuming that a "Major Trade" involving Sengun is incoming? We are at or near the apron and every mill counts. Capela is cheaper than Jock and can play just as well or even slighly better even at his age....AND IMHO don't see Tilly paying more than he absolutely has to. I'll be surprised if Sengun gets traded for Giannis... ....... ....... .......
Think of us as an upgrade of Jock and Cam to Clint and DFS.. Would love for Cam to work out but it appears that the bridge has been burnt. So 2 players you can easily play for 2 players you kind of held your breath on +/-
If the Rockets keep using their double big lineup, that 3rd string becomes essentially a 2nd string AND consider how many games Adams is going to miss. 3rd string center is a lot more important for the Rockets than most teams.
not that confusing when u understand that steven adams' body is basically cooked. when he can play, he's solid but he's injury prone and can't do back to backs. capela is basically a backup C.
He had Jrue and Middleton being elite that season and playoffs. Has done nothing since. First round exits in the east the last 3 seasons and 2nd round before that
