I like Capela but I would have rather gotten a backup PG. I'm not sure if any good PG was available that fits our budget. I don't trust Freddy to be healthy all season and Reed is a project. I guess Amen can handle some of the PG duty if really needed but we may struggle with out sets/offense setup in Freddy is out for any long period.
Giannis had tons of help, in a very weak conference. I would much rather watch a young team coming off 2 seed continue to grow over cashing in our best young talent for a 3 year max window
Again if Sengun isn't getting traded, I have to assume the thinking here is that Steven Adams' health is still somewhat questionable, and he can't play big minutes if Sengun goes down. We're clearly going for it, and don't want to be one frontcourt injury away from losing the championship window. But it does make me think there has to be some kind of backcourt acquisition in the works... right? We're at least as thin in the backcourt as we were at center.
I feel like the Rockets are setting up the ultimate troll job, building a completely stacked 11 man deep roster only to play a 7 man rotation in the playoffs.
Giannis dominates everywhere. The West is getting stronger and stronger and we can't sit back and wait for it to become easier. This is why we traded for Durant. Giannis I think will ask for a trade. Lillard out for the year, Brook Lopez has left.
Found it! Rockets championship, Anthem! Please click on the picture and the video will start playing.
They have no guards. Even if they have the utmost confidence in Reed. Fred/Reed/Holiday Amen/Nate A partial 2nd string center over…Gary Trent Jr.? Ty Jerome? Luke Kennard? Malik Beasley? (I don’t know, pick a guard) 3 deep at both forwards 3 deep at center 1 deep at guard
