bulls have been rumored to be in on Kaminga. I would hate to see him in the Bay. It makes you wonder what Jalen’s value woukd be if we didn’t extend him on that contract. But obviously that doesn’t matter now.
I understand that the vast majority of trade proposals on this board involve jettisoning a player the poster dislikes to acquire someone much more valuable, but that's not how most trades typically work. Most trades work as teams, have different timelines, and needs. If the Rockets trade Whitmore, it will likely be more about a desire for acquiring someone they want that they believe fits their team and timeline. Whitmore would fit what other team desires. I do think that the Rockets like Reed, and this could cause extension problems for Whitmore.
2025-2026 is a contract year for him. We won't be able to afford him now that we resigned FVV. Would've been nice though.
