Fantastic stuff. Just under 25 mil a year. Shouldn't be too tough to extend Eason and still stay under the 1st apron next season with that number.

Great news! I’m happy another member of the young core is signed long term. Stone is having a good offseason, so far.

I don’t think it is a good deal to be honest. He still can’t dribble at all as a PF

Jabari Smith didn’t have the most amazing stats, but he was a diamond in the rough. His Player Efficiency Rating (PER) was above average, and the team’s defensive rating went down significantly when Smith went down with an injury.

Folk that look at points without the analysis of how those points came about, don’t know how value is being redefined in modern sports athletics contributions.

Jabari Smith is vastly improving his efficiency, and he was always looked upon as a 3 and D PF. Best I can tell he is well on his way to a 3&D superstar player.

What was the max he could have gotten? Seems like a lot less than his max and kind of surprised he wouldn’t bet on himself and seek a shorter extension like Jalen. I think it’s a great deal for us though. I don’t necessarily see him ever becoming an allstar unless he just becomes an insanely good shooter. But he could be a top notch glue guy.

There are very few stars who can take a team of scrubs to the playoffs. You need legit teammates and Jabari is the type of player that won’t cause drama or demand shots but will produce in the right system and he isn’t afraid of big shots, as demonstrated against GSW.

watched another podcast clip yesterday of Draymond praising Jabari’s play from that series.
