This guy isn’t an NBA player. This Summer League is about Reed Sheppard getting 25+ shots a game for the 2 games he plays.
If his shots go in, the other team will smother Reed to prevent him from going off. This is part of the stupidity of summer league.
SL goals: Give Reed and Dante as many as possible developmental minutes. Reed PG skills. Dante PnR and rim protection. See what you got in Roddy. Maybe Tate 2.0 Makes Tate expendable as trade deadline fodder.

Let’s hope he does. After Cam went out in last years SL he didn’t look all that effective and every time someone pressed him defensively he didn’t look comfortable handling the ball. He needs work in that area imo
He looked good at the very beginning, but he showed up out of shape and that became evident fairly quickly. They were trying to push Reed Sheppard by throwing ridiculous amounts of playing time at him until he couldn't handle it anymore and Cam absolutely broke WAY before Reed did, which is a bad sign. I highly doubt he'd show up to another year of Summer League even if we were keeping him.
I believe each team has a 5th game on the 18th or 19th but the matchups are not yet determined because they don't know yet who will make the "playoff" round.
