Ive been as critical of Cam's sulky pouty, team morale crushing attitude as anyone. But if he was that bad a cancer, Durant trade was obvious chance to unload Cam, and they didnt. Meaning the team doesn't see him as that bad. Or it's Cam is so cancerous, Suns don't even want him as cheap trade sweetener. But thats absurd to think. Considering KPJ is still getting contracts in the NBA. And even playing rotation minutes in the playoffs, someone will take a chance on Cam who still isn't even driving age Cam as "Jalen Green insurance" project was probably the right way to slot him
those who opened this thread should be sent to australia, just for feeling the hell under. Cam Witmore has the most potential on this team and he will be a superstar now that the nail polisher is gone. of course, if they keep him.
He has been stuck on a loaded team. Same with Sheppard but with a corrosive attitude. He wants to be featured as a star scorer and wants to play more. This is why vets are so important to be used to fill in as role players. He reminds me of a more athletic Cam Thomas when it comes to scoring impact on games. Doesn’t help the other players as a team.
You know what IKO's post says. Teams are calling about Cam trying to pry him for cheap......and Stone is saying no. DD
The Rockets had some truly moribund second unit scoring at times this season....while Cam was on the bench. Maybe I'm dumb, but when JG wasn't showing up in 6 out of 7 games against GSW, I felt like Cam would have shown more courage and gone "You're all smaller and slower than me, and I'm going to attack you because I'm bigger and stronger than everyone but Draymond." Which is exactly what JG didn't do. And that's exactly why the Rockets were happy to offload JG on Phoenix to get KD. Rockets coaching staff watched GSW get smoked by the T-wolves and had to have been thinking, "If that mofo JG had shown up in one more game we could have been smoking the Timberwolves."
