    Its always personal.
And everyone in the offseason seems to have some sort of chip on their shoulder.

    It's an offseason epidemic

Shaq Griffin back to (check notes)... SEA!?!

That sux. After Darby retired, I hoped we could get Shaq back (bars)

I loved the idea of him as our 3rd boundary CB.

    C'est la vie

This was the guy I was most excited about signing, until we got Chubb. When he was drafted out of TEN he had insane bend on his pass rush and was really explosive. I think having him as our #3 DE is insane and DeMeco will love him.

I love the depth on the DL, We have the starters, but now we have a full season of Darnell and Autrey who can rotate with or replace WAJ and Hunter. And it's deep even behind that with Fatukasi Hinish, Horton, Toohill and Barnett. And DT is stacked too.

As good as our defense was last year, I believe it can be even better in 2025 (as long as key guys stay healthy). Really excited about the coming season!

We are in better shape to absorb injuries or maintain pressure on offenses while starters rotate out for a break.

I don't think this is as big a deal as many think. I don't believe any of these picks skipped rookie camp or minicamp because of not signing. Eventually the dam will break and everyone will sign quickly. My initial thought was all 2nd round guys would end up with fully guaranteed contracts and this would reset the standard going forward. After all, the money difference between picks 32 and 63 isn't that big. However, the talent gap and expectations can be huge and teams might decide to dig in because they know they will win. On the other hand, obviously no agent wants their client to be the one to break ranks.

Hopefully none of these guys hold out or hold in when training camps begin next month.
