Colton Gordon is now 6-2 when he starts for the Astros. Wheeler probaly going into the game strongly thinking 8th win, how about getting outpitched by Gordon with 0 ER and 0 Walk.
50-31 Tigers 49-31 Dodgers 47-33 Astros 47-33 Phillies 47-33 Cubs 47-34 Mets 46-34 Yankees 45-35 Rays Just wow.
Nice win. No matter how well the Mariners are playing, they still dropped a game to the Astros. Same goes for the yanks
It has to be Magic and we are getting back in the next 3 weeks: McCullers, Arrigetti, Garcia, Javier........ Not to mention Alvarez as a hitter..... What a fun year. DD
Alright, where are the stats hounds? When is the last time we had B2B shut out wins with only three runs?
I responded to a comment on point I didn’t bring it up. I had a range of 92-97 wins prior to the year, but I wouldn’t have thought we could do it with bad/nonexisyent Yordan.
Lol Phillies fans sitting in front of me in the Crawford Boxes broke our in some type of E A G L E S chat in the 9th once Hader came back from 3-0. So glad we win the WS against them.
I love him putting Caratini and Meyer in the 4th spot in the batting orders. Then tonight the 8th with King. Every night there is a new hero and that is credit to Espada, he is doing his way which is the correct way. Let me go eat some crow because I thought he was a clone.
The pitching right now is top notch. The pitching is absolutely carrying and THE reason this team is a legit contender.
Yep, People really underestimate how good Gordon is. A lefty with great control can do some serious damage.
The telecast said had we won 1-0 you would have to go all the way back to 1981 for back to back 1-0 wins. So it has to be pretty far back.
People need to start putting some respect on Colton Gordon's name. I'm not blaming anybody for it, but we really have to try and get Hader some actual rest. Even if we may risk a game or 2, he's seeing the mound a lot right now.
