After the Durant trade, now that the Rockets don’t have a pick, I find that I’m not really excited about the NBA draft. I had been watching YouTube videos of fellas in the vicinity of the 10th pick. Ever since the trade, my interest in the 2025 NBA draft are between zilch to almost non existent. I’m even doubtful the Rocket swing any deal to get into the NBA draft. Though there is a minuscule possibility they try and get a 2nd round pick at some point.
They actually still have the 59th pick but I get your point. I will watch like I always do even though Adam Silver handed the Mavs Cooper Flagg for the Luka trade.
Rockets don't have the 59th pick. It was one of the 5 seconds they send out for KD. Danielle Lerner said that Stone is looking to get into the 1st round today though.
It might be he is the trading chip? But also we can spend money to buy a pick from a team with 5.... Or trade them back their swap for some 1sts Or find other ways of doing it (take salary on etc)
