Statistics show divorce rates much higher among those who sleep around. Not sure why you're so defensive about the topic or why it's even a subject.
I see plenty young people in my church. I guess it could just be what part of town and church. I never had the urge to go clubbing; so my perspective is limited. How do I prioritize the act over the relationship when you are the one insisting the person should be a virgin? You are the one with the requirement that means you are the one who has that as a priority. Are you also a virgin? If you have had sex before how come you dont have a disease but you assume every girl who has had sex has a disease?
So uh...I think KD's gonna be really good for us--he had a super efficient season last year, and that was with a far worse team where he had to expend a lot more effort on defense. Next season, with all the stalwart defenders around him (and presumed shooting improvement from all our young guys), I truly think KD will have a great time, and we'll have a great time watching him. Also, why does every long CF thread need to be sidetracked with some weird stuff? Can't we just talk about KD instead of 40 year old virgins or whatever topic everyone is focused on?
No, I'm not, but I've been married for a long time. Let me give you some perspective... you're not 20 forever. Hot wives don't stay hot forever. The physical stuff is perishable. Prioritizing it over the mental seems illogical.... like renting apartments for 25 years instead of buying a house... This has certainly spiraled into a weird message board. Like I say, we're from entirely different countries. You're American, yes? That means the majority of people you know have a church and go to a church. I don't know a single Christian here in the UK that goes to a church ever. I know a couple of Muslims who go to mosque, all of the Jews I know are secular too. I'm not sure you realise how much more religious you guys are out there than most of us in north-western Europe. We do still have some religious people, they're just fewer and further between in the large cosmopolitan cities, of which I live in one. Going to church regularly at the weekend faded out most places outside of the rural country villages a couple of generations before mine here. My family in Texas find it strange also. They asked people "what church do you go to" and got met with very strange looks like they were crazy people - that's not a typical thing here at all.
