I think that was the era when athletes would down a 6-pack at halftime to re-hydrate.

I keep hearing a lot of people say Morey likes small ball or something yet I don't know where it comes from. He started with Yao/Scola/Battier/T-Mac/Rafer. After the Rockets rebuilt he trouted out Dwight/Parsons/TJones/Harden/Lin. D'Antoni era had Capela/Ryno/Ariza/Harden/Beverley. None of these lineups are small.

One of my many claims to fame is that I once caught a pass thrown by Ken Stabler. Dude was a legend!

I realize they are the minority but my god the number of people who think this trade was bad or resembles the Barkley trade LMFAO

Truth - we just got unlucky that our big men couldn’t stay healthy - Morey did like his undersized backup power forwards though

I have a question after watching the dunk video: How many times last season did Jalen crossover/misdirect his main in a half-court set and finish with a dunk?

I seriously didn't realize how much of that KD still had in him? I also didn't realize how much he keeps pressure on the defense by moving without ball instead of standing around when he doesn't have it.

Hopefully Durant’s a great influence on Bari, Sengun, etc., and they learn a lot from him so that when he retires they’re ready to take the lead. I think that must be part of the calculus of this trade, not just what he brings to the team in terms of his play.

I still can’t believe we are going to get to watch this in a rockets jersey.

I wished this place brought out and developed the best shooters so that it won't have to thirst for shooting players again.

This is going to be fun

Some things I noticed is like others said

Still can throw it down with ease
Still has a good amount of explosion
    Still moves well in general
Moves off ball well (he did play with GSW afterall)

    Other things:
His passing and IQ will be much needed. I think his passing is underated.
    That is real gravity

And this may be controversial, but we just got even better defensively. I think he's a better overall defender that Brooks. KD was still able to guard small guys. His length and still having good lateral ability really shows up on the defensive highlights. And he can provide some rim defense which Dillon couldnt. Plus he's 7ft with long arms.

Kd, Jabari >>>>> Jalen, Dillon on Both ends. Not even close. MUCH better AND much bigger.
