The problem if he flourishes is he declines is player option and pushes for a max. If he doesn’t then he opts in. Either way, his contract just doesn’t make him a good asset

    I hope he does.

Regardless of what people say about his game, he was a great teammate, had a great attitude and was very liked and liked being here. I'll always root for players like that. Hopefully he plays on a team that is conducive to his success.

I genuinely hope so. I believe he could put up 30 a night for a 30 win team.

But for a winner he needs to be coming off the bench. He's not a 1A.

If two trees grow side by side, neither will grow to it's fullest potential. If you replant one (or simply pick one), that gives the best chance for max potential.

    I'm rooting for Jalen.

I'm also rooting for Amen, and Alp, and Jabari, and Reed, and Cam ...which now they all have more oxygen to flourish.

I've shown it a million times.....ugh. one more time because you were absent.
Your short bus buddies here will never understand.

    % at dist......Ant Man...........Jalen
0-3....................17.6.............19.1 (Jalen got to the rim more than Ant man)
3-10..................15.8.............17.5 ( Jalen got to this range at a higher %)
10-16.................8.4..............5.8 (Ant shot more....Rockets big on analytics frown on mid range).
16-3P.................8.0..............11.6 (same.....Jalen may have been more foot on the line)
3P......................50.3............46.0 (half of Ant's shots are 3's, because Goberts defender camps in the paint)

Now FG% at each distance (24/25)
    Dist................Ant Man..........Jalen
0-3....................67.8................66.4 ( I posted often JG4 around 71.3 -ish... double bigs hurt the drive).
3-10.................45.3.................41.8 (Rockets frown on mid range because it's the least efficient shot)
10-16...............34.1................29.8 (same about mid range shots and Houston)
    16-3P................37.2...............37.1 (virtually the same FG%)
3P%..................39.5...............35.4 (Ant gets the knod here, like Harden the bigger base works for step back 3's....Jalen 40.9% CnS 's)

    basketball-reference.com

So basically same sh*t different cow. The T-Wolves want to get rid of Gobert so Edwards doesn't have to
deal with extra defenders in the paint. Edge to Ant Man since his team was 4th in team 3P%.....Rockets were 21st.
Jalen virtually had no spacing compared to Ant Man (because of multiple good 3-point shooters)

*If Jalen Green stays with the Suns.....they were 3rd in 3-pt shooting. I'm hearing they want to keep him.
Jalen with his speed will be like a kid in a candy shop. He has never had that much space as a pro.
Only in A.A.U. which is what Jalen is.....an A.A.U. product. If you watched the finals, that's what wins
    the championship now.

Ant gets 2 more FTA a game than Jalen: 6.3 to 4.1

    About the same 2P%:.......Ant 50.1%.......Jalen G 49.8% (but keep crying b*tches)

the Timberwolves just extended Rudy for 3 years 109 million so I don't think they are trying to get rid of him.

Looking back, if we’re being honest, it was clear Jalen wouldn’t be the guy when he **** the bed in the dunk contest. Dunking is quite literally the thing he is very best at in the world. He couldn’t get his act together enough to even be competitive in the very event he should dominate. Major red flag in his focus, preparation, and confidence.

Then the stupid NFT distraction definitively proved he was more concerned with flash than substance. He seems like a nice enough kid, but I don’t think he has the focus or drive to ever become a major star.

I've already seen that awhile back and im going to ask you, when Ant goes to the rim or has the ball, who produces better? Ant Man has been an all star 3 straight years and all nba, what has Green done besides shoot 42%?

No, We sent Cassell and Horry (two cogs during our 2 championship run) for Barkley. Green is nowhere near that caliber of clutchness and hasn't done anything for us as of yet but lead our team in scoring.

I like Jalen, but he ain't winning multiple rings.

lol. Put it this way, I do not expect anyone to ever refer to Jalen as “Big Shot Jalen” or “Mr. Big Balls”.

I wish the Suns fans luck in understanding a single word that comes out of his marble mouth.

I don't want Jalen to thrive if it helps Phx. We have their picks and they need to suck.

I won't miss the nonsensical Jalen arguments. I thought there came a time when Jalen was played a lot to showcase and up his trade value. The Jalen Only Fans were having none of that. They would constantly talk about how Ime loved Jalen when really I think it was Tilman who made us play him so much. It's clear that Ime didn't want him on the team.

I will miss his "on-ball gravity" and his "great defense." The arguments: "If Jalen made one more free throw a game then he'd shoot 39%!" Well yeah, so would every other player if they could make JUST ONE MORE SHOT.

Jalen didn't improve at all offensively in four years. He has no go to shot and can't get to the rim against Curry. His 3Pt% improved this year but still below average. He doesn't draw fouls at the rate he should, he was best in his second year at this. If his shot selection were good then his efficiency might follow. But that's a big ask after he's been doing this for four years. He doesn't know what he wants to do with the ball or he makes a bad decision.

If his shot is on he looks great. It's not on that much. We was gifted a starting spot and the keys to the offense but didn't succeed as we had hoped. He's a marginal starter to me and way overpaid.
