OMG, that would be the stupidest move ever by a GM (outside of Phoenix bringing in Beal). Next

    I'm thinking Bari/FVV and the two 2026 1sts, maybe add a 2027 1st for Giannis.

    A team of

    Sengun
    Giannis
    Durant
    Reed
    Amen

    Adams
    Holiday
    Cam
    Vet min PG

Wouldn't be awesome for the next 3-4 years. That's a championship level team IMHO. Are they trying to build a championship team or no? What's the goal here?

I've watched her for almost that long. There's no way all of her is 63.

Giannis is not dumb, if he had to choose between playing with Wemby, Flagg, Dybantsa, SGA, Donovan Mitchell.....

I don't know if he would choose 37 or by then 38 year old Durant provided he plays another year in Milwaukee......

I wouldn’t be shocked if Rockets went this route and go for the homerun. Anything can happen and a star like that is very costly. I don’t necessarily agree with it but I suspect this is what they plan to do at some point.

We should see what this squad can do this readjust accordingly at the trade deadline. I do not want Jaylen Brown. Only person I’m selling the farm for is Ant

3 non-shooters in the starting lineup. Don’t see a team built that way being championship level.

We’re already contenders. Let’s see what we have for a bit before any other drastic moves imo.

thats not enough for him. I don’t necessarily like it but I think it might happen with a few of our “core” guys involved.

There's no way we get there . Giannis probably isn't a reality for us

I agree. I don’t see how it happens without him involved.

But I was replying to a post that had a hypothetical with Sengun still on the roster.

But yeah. For sure. He’s the main piece of a Giannis deal if it were to happen. Again, I would sit tight for a bit personally to let things shake out.

I'm betting a Sengun for Giannis deal is still on the table. They can still swing some kind of deal for Cam Johnson too.

I dunno. I have no evidence. Just a hunch and that report and what he said in the past about his preferences. The article below talks about Rockets and Spurs waiting for that opening and possibility that the Bucks will be bad which may shift Giannis’ thinking.

    https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/...hes-still-looming-over-every-offseason-move/#

Neither the Spurs nor the Rockets are banking on an Antetokounmpo trade coming this summer. Nobody should be. All of the reporting has suggested that he is staying in Milwaukee. But they're hoarding the assets it would take to get him. They may just be doing it out of prudence. Anything good enough to net an MVP is good enough to want to keep, after all. Or, more likely, they're hoping that something changes in the somewhat near future.

So we had to endure the Silas years to have a limited window for a 32 year old and a 37 year old?

Please ban Silas from the NBA.

I cannot think of a worse decision than trading for Giannis. That is the literal worst thing the rockets could do. I have to think stone is smarter than that. Please for the love of god, no Giannis.

I'd happily take him. It makes us the best team in the league. I really don't want to give up Amen
