Thank you for saying Paolo needs to take a leap. Paolo is probably my worst prospect assessment as I did not think he would get to the line as much in the NBA. That said, he's still got to get the rest of his game there, and too many people already use present tense with Paolo in regards to being the man.
This trade annoys me. My gut reaction was that Magic just made a big short term bet that likely isn't enough. Thinking on trade, the East is weak, and this gets them in the Top 4 there. This would not guarantee Top 6 in the West. I hate that my evaluation of a trade is so different based solely on conference.
Their issues go beyond KCP and Bane, they should hire an Offensive assistant ....revamp their Offensive System to find ways to work around the inefficiencies of Wagner and Paolo. Cole Anthony actually did a lot for their bench scoring, they never replaced that. Normally it is not 1 player that drives the whole thing unless it is a Top 5 player.
