This take on Dracula looks really good and has a lot of talent associated with it. As of now the film is going to be showing internationally, but I definitely want to watch it if there will be USA release dates.

DRACULA Trailer (2025) Christoph Waltz, Luc Besson

Writer, director Luc Besson (“Léon: The Professional”), sticks his neck out for a romantic take on Bram Stoker’s evil vampire in “Dracula: A Love Tale”, starring Caleb Landry Jones, Christoph Waltz and Matilda De Angelis, opening July 30, 2025 in international theaters:

Finally watched this movie. Worth the viewing even beyond the lesbian scenes. A classic crime/mobster thriller that is still holding up almost 30 years later.

Karate Kid Legends - decent popcorn. Nothing serious
Ballerina - decent. Nothing special from the John Wick universe

Sinners was a Masterpiece - Mind Blowing
    Mission Impossible was good Cinema

I go for larger than life sensory experience.

KK:Legacy was similar to watching Kobra Kai
Ballerina was ok but it missed some opportunities - Flame Thrower was cool

    Bullet Train - 8/10

I had a good time with this movie and wouldn’t mind seeing a spin-off focused on Lemon and Tangerine…those 2 characters stole the show for me

    25th Hour - 7/10

A Spike Lee joint I actually enjoyed. A tale of a moment in life of what and how you do with it.

Who knew Tony Siragusa acted? Norton is good at getting beat up in his movies in the early 2000s.

Randomly ran across this yesterday on Shudder, French Zombie flick shot in one long continuous take. I was pretty impressed by the time it was all said and done......

We watched The Amateur this past weekend and really enjoyed it. I'd give it a 8-8.5 out of 10. Completely unbelievable but still entertaining for those that enjoy action/spy dramas.

Bob Trevino Likes It - Very heartwarming story based on true events from the producer/director. We didn't have high expectations but really enjoyed the movie. We'd give it a 8.5 out of 10.

I don't apologize for always giving Wes Anderson a go, and The Phoenician Scheme is, according to me, one of the good ones. Actually has an organization and some characterization. Probably a little better than Moonrise Kingdom and not quite at Tennenbaum and Rushmore level. (The dialogue isn't as good as those.)

But very glad I saw it. The dream / near-death sequences are something really new for his pallet, I think.
Great details and visuals throughout, as you might expect by now.

    8.5 / 10
