    McGrady, who has three years and $47.1 million left on his current deal, has been extended for an additional four years that are worth $85.7 million, ESPN Insider Chad Ford reports. McGrady will make $14.4 million this season; his salary in the last year of his contract, the 2010-11 season, is $24.1 million.

    You should not have been worried. No team would pull off a trade like this if they had not in part talked about an extension and made sure they would resign.

    I'm estatic that we've got TMac locked up! Unfortunately I hate to be the one that says it, but paying him all of this money will put us in a big bind for years to come. After we give Yao the max that'll leave us very little for the rest of the team. I guess Kobe and Shaq showed you could do it this way so hopefully we're going to do the same.
