Jalen Green will do well there, don't have the pressure on him to be #1 option. He can just be Jordan Clarkson now
I don’t know what the kids future is but he’s still really young! And I do think it’s still really bright! I wish him only the best and hate it ended so early.
I'm not looking forward to hearing from his stans every time he has one of his random heaters like he does literally every season. Always with the "Jalen Green apology form" BS
After hearing about what they plan on paying him, no one is more excited about being around Devin Booker than Draya is.
Wish him luck. There is a chance he works on his weaknesses and is a late bloomer years from now and this bites us, but also there is a significant chance he stays inconsistent mentally or Phoenix due to a crowded back court or another team doesn't put him in good system/opportunities and he is basically RJ Barrett etc. Wasn't a bad kid and wish him and his family success.
You're going out all guns blazing on this sinking ship. Mind you, you're making an absolute fool of yourself doing so, but you do you. As always, Jalen clowns bringing great enjoyment to those sane members of Clutchfans.
I thought this was a sweet little video. I do wish him the best, truly. May he average 30ppg...as the suns tank.
As one of the biggest Jalen Truthers on this board I am obviously sad to see him go for sure... But this was probably needed if he was ever going to take that next step. I just wish we could have seen him play in with a real PG and in an actual offensive system before jettisoning him. Good luck Jalen.
I understand the frustration with green as player but the hate he gets on this board is absurd. Yes, he didn’t live up to expectations but still he was a great kid. Admittedly I wanted him traded l, wish him the best
Wish him the best. Was extremely raw when we drafted him but developed into a starter level 2 guard and good defender. However, was miscast as the #1 perimeter initiator/creator and seems like he will be more of a supporting player/secondary option on the perimeter in his career. Nothing wrong with that, but obviously we were hoping for more when we drafted him and found out that forcing him into the #1 option role was not ideal. I'm guessing he'll be a nice player for a long time and maybe even make an all star game or two, but never all-NBA.
I truly appreciate the defensive effort he demonstrated in the last two seasons under Ime. Big improvement compared for he’s first two seasons. Eventually we all knew that we would have to give up part of our young core for a superstar, and Jalen was less untouchable than Amen or Alpi..
Feel sad for Jalen but remember Rockets gifted him a near max contract that no other team would've probably given him in free agency. He's at least leaving the team with all that $ guaranteed.
Agree. While am not sure how Green feel about being dealt: disappointed maybe. But hopefully not too mad, because in the grand scheme of things Stone got him paid his first large NBA contract... something he probably wasn't getting from any other team. From a business perspective, Stone did right by him. Hopefully Green saves that money to last him a long time.
