It seems you don't know the meaning of the word 'fact'.

Because if you did, you definitely would not use it in a sentence after trying to claim Jalen Green of all people, turns a team into a 50 win team.

How do you keep doubling down on stupid? How is it possible?

our zone worked against one of the best shooting teams in warriors. The beauty is we have soo many different options now.

The only reason KD wanted to get to the Rockets is so he would never ever be guarded by Amen again.

We both know @Downtown Sniper is incapable of reading, reasoning, or critical thinking. He won’t do the homework and he doesn’t stick on topic. Instead he wants to continue to talk about his hatred for Green. This likely will continue even when the guy doesn’t play here anymore. Quite sad

This is why I’m glad to see JG gone, every great game by Jalen was because of him, every bad game by Jalen was because of the organization.

Well he has more bad games than he has good, so by your logic he got us to the second seed, but single handedly lost us the playoffs.

You can’t have one without the other

True. But I attribute this team’s offensive shortcomings mostly to the poorly designed system employed by Ime (heavy ISO and lots of attacking the paint). In that context, KD’s game compensates for those shortcomings. What I’m looking at is whether this is enough to elevate them past teams that employ ball movement and speed. Right now my gut is saying no but we shall see. That’s why they play the games.

Its like when people die and their souls hang around for a while looking for closure. Hopefully they wont be haunting clutchfans much longer.

Five 2nd rounders - who cares
10th pick this year - no room anyhow
Brooks - Thanks for the memories but not needed now
Jalen - Overstayed his welcome and the best case scenario of one of the core traded.

    GREAT TRADE!

Do you really want me to post the far dumber things you have said?

Seems like you're begging for it.

First thing I thought of was the 5 second rounders and I thought of Kevin Costner in “Draft Day” where this goes:

“I want my second round picks back! All of them!”

    lol

Again, that's because you missed that the difference between "JOF's" and "SOF's" is that "JOF's" are Rockets fans and were that before Jalen came here, why would they leave when a player got traded? Are you new to sports? We've seen significantly better players than Jalen ****ing Green get traded away, come on now lmao.

This means the Suns might be motivated to finally move Booker for the Rockets haul if they cannot re-tool significantly.

Ran another forecasted simulation for the likely best case scenario team record wise, if KD is both healthy and the young guys make a leap. We know the worst case, but we'll focus on the positive for now.

With Kevin Durant now in Houston and the Rockets’ young core continuing to develop, a realistic projection for their 2025–26 regular season record is 56–26, potentially landing them a top-2 seed in the Western Conference again.

Here’s how that estimate comes together:

    Why the Rockets Improve
    • Durant’s Impact: Even at 37, KD remains one of the league’s most efficient scorers (26.6 PPG on 52.7/43/87 splits last season). His presence gives Houston a go-to option in late-game situations—something they lacked in their 52–30 campaign last year.

    • Internal Growth:
      • Amen Thompson is expected to take a leap as a two-way force and secondary playmaker.

      • Jabari Smith Jr. and Tari Eason continue to refine their shooting and defensive versatility.

      • Alperen Şengün is already an All-Star-caliber big and should improve his conditioning and rim protection.

      • Cam Whitmore and Reed Sheppard offer bench scoring and spacing that was inconsistent last season.
    • Continuity & Coaching: Ime Udoka returns after leading the team to a 52-win season and a top-4 defense. With a more balanced roster and fewer growing pains, the team should be more consistent against both elite and rebuilding squads.
    Projected Team Metrics

If Durant stays healthy for 65+ games and the young core continues its upward trajectory, Houston could flirt with 58–60 wins. But 56–26 is a grounded, optimistic projection that reflects both the talent infusion and natural development curve.
