I can't believe how favorable this deal is for the Rockets. I was certain we'd have to include the 2027 first along with Jalen, pick #10 and some cap filler.

Jalen might improve a little but I think it's unlikely he ever even becomes an average starter. The Suns are still in cap hell with Devin Booker and a lot of mediocre, overpaid players. Jalen just compounds that problem. The Suns literally have one above-average starter on their roster. Amazing ineptitude.

Unless the 10th pick overall becomes a star, the Suns will be in the lottery for the next 3 seasons. We benefit greatly from that as well. The odds of the #10 pick in the draft becoming a star is pretty low.

Best trade possible. Stone looks like a genius. The Suns aren't just cooked but are roadkill....like a rotting armadillo carcass in the Sun.

Stone to Presti: All your old hands are belong to me. :D

Harden, Westbrook, Adams, and now Durant.

Talk about absolute HELL…. Having to watch that trio and then realizing you are giving them basically 150 million a year.

Let’s say you post something of value for once instead of unnecessary and unprovoked attempts at quips, insults, and digs. That would be beautiful and make pretend world that unfortunately will never happen

Checking multiple Phoenix boards and none of the posts are happy. Many saying, "LOL we have the 4 SG team." I think they are missing the upside of Green, but by Phoenix fans perspectives, we won this trade.

If it's believing this trade is an overpay, imagine the costs it'd take to get peak prime Giannis. Who is at an age and playing style looking at a downward trend. Consider the risk of younger All Stars like Zion Williamson, LaMelo Ball, Ja Morant.

Or Jaylen Brown, Trae Young, who might either be overrated or underrated, but come at a high cost. Or the DeAaron Fox, Desmond Bane, Mikal Bridges level of stars that that still takes multiple 1sts to acquire.

Durant's age indirectly works at keeping it lower cost add-in to the core, instead of gutting the draft capital AND core players like the Suns did. (Like a Giannis trade would do)

Any chance the Rockets sign our good friend JAMES HARDEN to a contract to fill the role of FVV? One can only dream.

    Harden
    Amen
    Durant
    Jabari
    Sengun

Would be gangsta AF. But sigh, won't happen obvs lol

One thing people forget too is cap wise, KD is going to be a big expiring. I don't know if we will give him a 1 or 2 year extension but whenever we do, he should bring cap relief and hopefully then Amen and Sengun would have fully matured into all-star players.

For those worried about Durant's age, let's not forget he is a Top 15 player of all-time. He averaged like 27 PPG on elite efficiency at age 36, no reason to believe he won't be an all-star level player until age 40 or so.

DB kind of grew on me, but he was always the most expendable log in the frontcourt logjam. Now, the others get more minutes to improve and excel.

We can field a lineup of Sengun, Adams, Jabari, Durant, and Amen. It's crazy to think that at barely over 6'5" Sengun will be the shortest player on the court. Maybe he can grow another inch or two this summer?

I think you meant Amen as the shortest player in that lineup.

You left out the fact he shot .357 overall FG%
Went 1-6 2 pt for .167 2pt% with 3 TO’s that last game he started against the Lakers on APR 11. By no means has he shown any consistency or a player worthy of more playing time. The comparison to Holliday who is a vet who had shown reliability is quite disrespectful and simply a false equivalency.

If Cam survives the summer as a Rocket…I’m so hype to see him ball. He’s a guy who can get buckets against anyone. Hopefully he sees this opportunity and works on the things needed. KD is about to make the game easier for a already very good squad!
