Who is excited that we no longer need to see Jalen/Dillon led offense!

Not hating on those two but it was painful to watch Dillon initiating our offense last season or Jalen playing hot potatoes when he see any defender front office him. Even if KD misses a lot of next season I’ll take watching more plays drawn out for Segun, Jabari, Cam and Reed next season.

Dillon was surprisingly good on offense - but he was redundant as we had Tari and Amen in his spot and Cam too - so it was good to get value for him rather than play him out his contract.

Jalen though, was given FAR too much rope, there were games he was amazing but he is the definition of a front runner a guy that did well when he was confident but was terrible when he missed a few - we are good to get ANY value out of Jalen.

IMHO, losing Jalen was addition by subtraction, so to get KD - is just icing on the cake.

I don't have to watch Jalen **** himself in the 4th quarter or Dillon crash into people for back breaking 3 point fouls.

Dillon was getting better on O, and worse on D....so it was the right time to trade him....he was heading towards PJ Tucker old man role player status.

May be true, but Dillon was the floor general on defense, getting guys to communicate. Amen will likely take over that role; let’s just hope he’s read to not just play great defense, but to make sure the rest of the guys aren’t slacking during play.
