I hate LeBron, but his stats are closest comparison to Durant’s stats. He averaged the most points per year at what age? Would you believe it if I said 37!!! He averaged career numbers at 38 & 39, before the dropoff at 40. That is what we can expect from KD. He’ll play less games because he doesn’t have the same body physique as LJ , but the stats will remain consistent. In two years we get two first round picks to get young again. Lastly, this will help a guy named Jabrari innumerablely, as KD can be a valuable mentor to his long suffering (minus the playoffs) game.

Very true lol. Kind of wild when you put it like that. On the plus side Suns tickets should drop way down in price so I’ll be able to go to more games lol. During the Harden era I was going to games in the lower bowl for like $40. Then after the finals run those same tickets have been like $250 and up.

I like it. Hope we pace KD through the regular season to keep him fresh and healthy.

I love the huge strides arguement.

What you mean to say, is he went from without a doubt the worst defender in the league, to a sometimes tries on the ball defender.

He is still absolutely terrible off ball, his defensive IQ is still incredibly subpar.

Oh wait... you're serious... you genuinely are serious that Green is the second best defender on a team. Wow.

Just by getting rid of Jalen and DBrooks we can get more playing times to Cam and Reed which two were better player than Jalen and Jabari/Tari will see more time if we decide to keep KD fresh for the playoffs. We had to sacrifice two years on Jalen to keep his value some what relevant and keep Cam and Reed value lowest possible to keep them off the table was genius move.

Great trade. Green was cooked and is a bust relative to where we drafted him. Now he can put up meaningless stats for a losing team just like he learned to do under Silas.

Sad to Villain Brooks go, but wings are easily replaceable.

This is only for a couple of years, but this is the new NBA where two years may as well be an eternity.

I'm thinking about this starting lineup and liking it more and more.
4 guys that can pass - SVV, KD, Bari, Amen
3 guys that can shoot and spread the floor - SVV, KD, Bari
2 guys that create gravity - Alpi and KD
1 freak of nature - Amen

Rockets can still build around Sengun and Thompson, even if it doesn't work out with Durant. We kept Phoenix picks...we'll be ok.

Good thing they didn't trade two starting calibre players.

They traded one and Jalen Green.

Cam should have way more confidence too. Team chose him over Green.

I don't know how any Rox fan could not like this. Go read the response from PHX fans if you think we gave up too much.

This just doesn't make sense why give up young up coming star for a old player that will just pull up and get hurt .

The 2nds won't be an issue at all. This last draft alone #52 (Quinten Post) and #57 (Comche) were traded for just cash and other picks were traded for "future picks" and cash. It's still possible to buy into the late 2nd round where we would be picking anyway.

It's been a little over an hour...have you picked a new player to hate yet?

    Nature abhors a vacuum.
