I do think it could help Phoenix at least in the reg season. JG was very durable, played most of the season (every game maybe?), and over the course fo the entire season, improved on his overall consistency. his effort level on d improved and overall IQ and awareness also increased. Remember in Jan/Feb we were all wondering, uh... is this now consistent? will he have another up/down or is he going to continue? All the way to the end of the season, he was very solidly good. Brooks shot the 3s extremely well and some of our signature wins during the season (Celtics at Boston) was because of his contributions. His leadership and willing to get in the mix for his players will be missed. That's needed to get pressure off of people. Dillon being there will put some pressure off of Booker from toughness/intangibles standpoint. They also add depth with 10th pick, etc.

 

It was time for Jalen to go. The organization was patient with him and even rewarded him with a contract that he didn't deserve based on his potential.

Even if he somehow goes on to another team to reach his potential, it doesn't matter because he lost the fanbase.
