Great trade. They didn't give up much. Green was a blackhole. Dillion and 10 isn't much even for 37 year old Durant.

I don't mind Stone trading, but I wanted to go after someone who'll be around this squad longer than Durant, who is just a 1 to 2 year rental.

Losing Dillon hurts. Gonna be interesting. Didnt have a clear backup 2/3 last year. Some say tari but im not as high on tari as others. Quite frankly dillion helps us win more this year than tari. But i understand the future. I like tari way more at the 4 than a wing spot. Cam and reed step up time. Maybe we can do something in FA too.

    3rd biggest winner: Cam Whitmore
    2nd biggest winner: Amen Thompson

But the biggest winner of them all: you, and all the friends you made along the way

Only thing I'm confused by is people calling Reed part of the core. He may be but I haven't seen anything out of him to give me that impression. Did I blink and miss something?

Durant is always injured… Hopefully Cam and Reed step up.

Funny we have had Harden, Westbrook and Durant lol

If Jalen “breaks out”, hey, good for him.

But it’s not/won’t be because the Rockets didn’t give him every opportunity. In fact, he’s the one player who never had to work for his job.

This is not Shai traded after his rookie year
This is not Haliburton, backing up Fox.
This is not Brunson, backing up Luka.

I would love a true floor general better than Fred and another serious shooting threat. If Reed (or anyone else) makes the leap that would work. My fear is now the defense will just focus on KD instead of Green. Presumably KD will handle that significantly better, but having only one great offensive player isn't a championship formula imo.
