    Iran is such a stain on Islam and on the Middle East in general. They were taught a very important lesson tonight. If they attack USA interests, then I cannot fathom just how screwed their backwards country will be.

    Just add that to the long list of impeachable offenses so far. If Republicans had one ounce of integrity they would join Democrats to impeach him. The problem is that most of the Republicans are butt kissing loyalists who could care less about the laws Trump breaks. That, and spineless cowards too scared to break ranks from the brown shirts and be branded with a big target for retribution.

    Israel’s concern about Iran goes beyond just nuclear weapons. While the nuclear issue is real, the deeper goal is to keep Iran weak and isolated because it's the only serious regional rival. Unlike Gulf states, Iran can’t be easily influenced or controlled, and it has significant military, ideological, and intellectual strength.

    Israel likely knows it can’t fully stop Iran from getting a bomb, but wants to delay it and limit Iran’s regional power. That’s why the “3 months from a bomb” narrative keeps resurfacing—it’s about keeping pressure on, not just stopping a weapon.

    This bombing campaign will likely push Iran to speed up a military nuclear program, not stop it. It also sends a message to countries like Turkey and Saudi Arabia that they might need nuclear weapons too—because if Iran can be hit without having one, they could be next. Instead of stopping threats, this could end up creating more of them.
