Im not sure if this has been posted yet or not so if it has please excuse this. I heard this morning on the Vandermeer show from Jeremy Foster on his updates that this years color commentary will be performed by no other than Van Chancellor. Did anyone else hear about this?
What language does Van actually speak? I think it's Hickanese... The few times I have pulled out the ole "Hicktionary" to deciper his commentary, I've found what he actually said wasn't worth the the time it to decipher it. I tune him out when I watch the game. He's like a nagging wife...You hear her talking but you don't hear a word she is saying.
And in other news... Man has landed on the moon. Sorry...but there's been about three or four threads about this already. Van has done most of the preseason games also.

I'm on the fence as to whether or not to get League Pass this year. Is Chancellor incomprehisible enough to be funny or is it just annoying? I've never heard him call a game.
this is all about the WNBA - its the marketing for the Comets and their train wreck league that is behind this - Matt Bullard and Lisa Malosky were fine half time and color commentators. but the NBA (or the Rockets) want to force the Comets on the Rockets' fans. They have a deal with 610 to broadcast Rockets games, but also require the radio to broadcast Comets games (even though they could move those games to 650 AM) look, I think its nice to have a womens league, but why must they force it on us let me be the 1,000,000th person to tell them IT AIN'T GONNA WORK - SO STOP !!!!!!!
Inner ear infection, they're going to check it out soon, shouldn't effect him at all this season. Man, Cato's gonna kick some butt this year, glad we extended his contract.
