Maybe they should rise the pay for those jobs
until Americans will apply for them

Isn't that how Capitalism is suppose to work
They have make the demand for the job palatable to the point that the supply shows up?

but no . . they want to be able to FORCE labor to take whatever they offer
aka circumventing capitalism into a one sided affair.

If a peach orchard cannot survive paying legal workers bargained for wages, then it should not survive. That land would be repurposed for something else which can be productive. If that means people have to buy imported peaches, or peaches become a luxury item because they have to raise prices, so be it. Why would it be better to support exploiting illegal immigrants so people can have cheap peaches?
I don't use political expediency as my guide. That's why I am a libertarian.
Enforcing laws can be sold to Americans though. If that then forces them to reckon with reality, all the better.

We are so quick to tell consumers/individuals that if they cannot afford it . . .don't buy it
YET we still feel like Corps/Ownership is ENTITLED to cheap labor

If Peaches cannot be grown and havested at a cost that market can bear .. .then they do become a luxury item
    So Be It.
That Said . . . .we really need to see why everything in America seems cost twice as much as everywhere else

I find it sad that a can of peaches could potentially be a luxury item, we have lived of the sweat of immigrants for so long to be able to have cheap things like beef, chicken, vegetables..................practically everything we eat

then trump and team paint a wide brush that there ALL bad which is simply not true. I am not sure if they paid an American $25.00 an hour that they would WANT to pick the dam things in this heat......................the American labor pool is not into that type of work IMO but hey, I hope she gives it a shot and if Peaches go from 2.50 a lb to 25.00 a lb I just wont buy them.

Maybe the issue is that someone should not need to be paid 25/hr to make their way in America
When Rent is 1800 a month for a 1 bedroom apt
    that is crazy . . .
    1800 rent/40 hrs a week/ 4 weeks = AT LEAST 11.25$/Hr
and that is JUST FOR RENT!!!

Yeah, scary and disturbing stuff. Those types should be locked away without a key. The sickest part is they are far more dangerous and sadistic than most illegals, and you never hear Trump screaming in outrage over any of these types, because of those they are victimizing.

    You keep saying this...

What is a proper hourly "American" wage for

    dishwashing in restaurants
line cooks (the less fancy places = 90%) in restaurants
construction work (assuming they even know how)
    picking vegetables
    industrial food processing
    etc...

What pay is it that would make you want one of these backbreaking jobs?

Then you have to factor in heat, water breaks, and working hours for all the outdoor jobs in the south, the risk of injury in dangerous jobs, and any worker benefits, protections, insurance, and vacation, provided. Nobody wants to work 60 hours a week in crappy conditions and still not be able to pay for healthcare or get vacation time.

    here is the problem
The Wage should be a LIVING WAGE
In order to lower the pay on these job
you need to lower the cost of living

Cannot just treat people like slaves.

Yet if you raise the wages on those jobs you'll increase the cost of living by a factor of ?

Take healthcare out of the equation, like every other industrialized nation on earth, and then you can get somewhere.

there was a job posting in Louisiana that went viral for working on a farm picking blueberries from May-July 9-10 hours/day for $11/hr, and must be willing to work up to 7 days/week

MAGA, now is your time to reclaim the jobs all these illegals were taking from u.

In South Carolina, Sean-Michael Johnson, 33, was charged with kidnapping and impersonating a police officer after allegedly detaining a group of Latino men along a Charleston County road. Johnson is accused of “willfully and unlawfully presenting himself as an ICE Agent and detaining a vehicle of individuals from moving,” according to court records.

The incident, which was recorded by one of the victims, took place on Sullivan’s Island near Charleston on January 29.

“You all got caught!” Johnson is heard saying on the video. “Where are you from, Mexico? You from Mexico? You’re going back to Mexico!”

In the video, Johnson is seen taking the driver’s keys, mocking the driver’s accent, while jiggling the car keys in his face. At one point he is seen trying to take the driver’s phone.

The driver calls a friend and, speaking Spanish, says, “I don’t know man, he’s saying immigration.”

“Now don’t be speaking that pig-Latin in my f**king country!” Johnson says, knocking the phone out of his hand.

“He’s crazy. He’s a racist, man,” one of the passengers in the vehicle, another victim, can be heard saying in Spanish.

Johnson was charged with three counts of kidnapping and one count each of impersonating a law enforcement officer, petty larceny, assault and battery, according to jail records.

CNN has been unable to locate an attorney for Johnson. In court Saturday, the public defender said Johnson was extremely sorry for his actions.

Johnson bonded out of jail over the weekend, and in a court appearance Saturday his family pleaded with the judge, saying their son has mental health issues and “has tried to get help” in the past, “but he needs to continue with that therapy,” according to CNN affiliate WCIV.

of course they went with "mental health issues":rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

these racist devils have a genetic defect

At the University of Florida, the story of the book award took a dramatic turn soon after Ms. McAlister defended the decision to honor Mr. Damsky with it. It was then, in February, that Mr. Damsky opened an account on X and began posting racist and antisemitic messages. After he wrote in late March that Jews must be “abolished by any means necessary,” the university suspended him, barred him from campus and stepped up police patrols around the law school. He is now challenging the punishment, which could result in his expulsion.

Mr. Damsky’s paper includes arguments similar to those recently adopted by the Trump administration, including a call to “reconsider” birthright citizenship, and an assertion that “aliens remain second-class persons under the Constitution.”

It also argues that courts should challenge the constitutionality of the 14th Amendment, which ensures birthright citizenship, due process and equal protection under the law, and the 15th Amendment, which protects the right to vote for nonwhite citizens.

Mr. Damsky concluded the paper by raising the specter of revolutionary action if the steps he recommended toward forging a white ethno-state were not taken. “The People cannot be expected to meekly swallow this demographic assault on their sovereignty,” he wrote, adding that if the courts did not act to ensure a white country, the matter would be decided “not by the careful balance of Justitia’s scales, but by the gruesome slashing of her sword.”

While Mr. Damsky’s papers were written in a formal style consistent with legal scholarship, his social media posts have been blunt, crass and ugly. A critic of Israel’s war in Gaza, he argued in one post that President Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio were “controlled by Jews,” whom he called “the common enemy of humanity.” In posts about Guatemalan illegal immigrants, he said that “invaders” should be “done away with by any means necessary.” He lamented the “self-flagellatory mind-set” of modern-day Germans, noting their failure to revere Hitler.

Mr. Damsky said he assumed that it was the judge who graded his paper. He also said that the judge “is not a white nationalist.”

“Don’t get me wrong,” he added. “I would prefer it if he was.”

it’s people like this that black MAGA, Latinos, and other groups are tap dancing for

can’t teach black history in Florida, but u can give awards to white supremacists
