My 10yo loves the concept of a ‘baseball fight’ where everyone just comes together and yells at each other. He and his little brother keep yelling ‘baseball fight’ then everyone in the house has to come together to watch them yell silly crap at each other.
Astros are officially top 10 OPS (.726) for the first time in a long time Spoiler https://www.espn.com/mlb/stats/team/_/table/batting/sort/OPS/dir/desc Yordan should be 90% healed, should....
I took at the HBP replay. The pitch was about 6 inches inside and a little high. Neto was crowding and got caught leaning in. What an effing drama princess.
That's pretty egregious. MLB should add a set number of pitch challenges. Maybe 3 per game, plus a bonus if all 3 are overturned.
That's hilarious! Show 'em this one: https://www.m*lb.com/video/expos-as...partnerId=web_video-playback-page_video-share *take the asterisk out of "mlb.com", the auto-embedding on the bbs was messing up the formatting
That was such an awesome brawl. I don't think I'll show them that one. I'm enjoying the 'baseball fight' antics for now.
The best thing about taking karate lessons as a wee lad was getting the cushy foam hand and foot pads. My brother and I used to "practice karate" in the yard all the time.
Brown is 100% in the right. It was ridiculous for Neto to act like Brown threw at him: Brown is an ace pitching on a contender; Neto is a middling player on a also-ran. The pitch was barely off the plate. Neto crowds the plate. Neto almost swung.
Hunter, cont. " … I gotta command the inside part of the plate. That’s part of my game. If you want to stand with your toes on the chalk, you can’t get that upset when I’m throwing a pitch that you’re almost swinging at. I stand by what I do, and obviously, there was no intent behind it.”
