If we told a player to go get 20 points, Cam.
If we told a player to win games, Jalen.

Cam is the better talent but he seems like a cancer that would make our team worse. Would love to be wrong, but there must be a reason he is on a short leash.

both choices aren't great, but I had to hold my nose and pick Jalen since Cam has allowed himself to be reduced to garbage minutes.

 

So someone should have told Jalen we were trying to win those playoff games.

you guys act like Jalen is the first player ever to get completely shut down in a series. It happens more often then you guys think.

But to answer the question, Jalen. Cam might be a more talented scorer but that's all he has. He also has a shitty attitude which can demoralize a team. Cam has his own intentions within the game. Ask their teammates who they rather play with and you'd be lying if u think they would say Cam.

 

Compare these two? Jalen is better currently.

 

Jalen has played and started 4 years worth of nba ball. Cam didnt come into a tanking terrible team and hasnt been given that long leash. I dont know who's better, but I know I dont want Jalen around and I want to see more of Cam.

Not enough info to even have this discussion. Cam hasn’t been given a legitimate chance vs Jalen getting plenty chances. Cam’s skillset is needed more right now for this team though than Jalen.

 

This is the correct answer. Everyone is going to approach this question from a different angle. But let’s put it this way:
If there were an expansion draft tomorrow and you were down to protecting only one of Cam or Jalen, which one would you protect?

 

Protect them until you can go even younger.

 

Cam might be a more consistent and efficient scorer, but that's literally it. Jalen smokes him in every other way right now.

remember we have other players we need to save cap space for. JGis not the answer making ~10 times the amount of CW.

 

Cam was a better shooter on the year than Jalen at 3 years younger.
