I think the thing that sold me was his game impact. 6'8" 230+ already. Efficient scorer although the shot is ugly, incredible defender and willing passer. Dude reminds me of Tari kinda. Except Tari can kinda shoot threes but sucks at the rim - CMB sucks at threes and is an auto bucket around the cup. He's a brickhouse too, you just watch other players bounce off of him but he doesn't really move. Per 36 is wild - a hair under 20/10 with a couple/three assist AND a couple/three stocks. Analytics darling for sure. If Amen is going to excel, if one of Tari/Jabari is likely gone after this season - Collin Murray-Boyles is the reload we need.

If he drops to us doesn’t mean we have to take him, but I don’t see him falling past 8. The Nets need a young player to build around so they will probably jump all over him.

I think he’s one of the safest picks in the draft. You are getting excellent switchable defense, passing, rebounding and elite processing, excellent footwork and inside game. You are not getting shooting but he’s working hard on it. He’s one of the 3 players I’d be okay taking at 10 that are likely available. Even though we need a shooter, he might end up being BPA when we pick. He’s a better prospect than Tari was coming out.

    I’d dig
    CMB
    Essengue
    Coward
    Kon

Most of all. there’s a couple other guys that I wouldn’t necessarily be disappointed about including Jakucionis and Bailey if he were to randomly drop.

It would be hilarious if we ended up drafting him. He wants guaranteed starter minutes? Okay, head down to the G-league.

Have the Rockets been working out any prospects in case of trade failure?

Kasparas Jakucionis, Cedric Coward, or Carter Bryant are the three guys who could be available at #10 and I'd be happy to see Houston pick. Probably in that order.

Collin Murray-Boyles is another name that seems to come up for the #10, but I'm a bit wary of his size and his reported lack of outside shot.

Another really intriguing name is Danny Wolf, but it sounds like he's expected to go much later in the draft.
But I'm getting some Sengun vibes from him, though with less of a post game and with better shooting.
