Or they are too lazy to find a third team to work it out. I think if either side really want the deal to work, they'd be working their tail off to get it done. Looks like the Rockets don't have much urgency in this and the Suns are still trying to use the flea market tactic to get more for their cheap ware.
Jabari clearly has some upside, but not what I projected from watching him at Auburn. There isn't any one weakness, but a combination of them all that lowers his ceiling. The fact Dirk could do several other things Jabari can't is what separates them by a galaxy. Regarding handles, I must admit his lack of progress over 3 years and the utter lack of awareness of his limitations in the first 3-4 games against the Warriors really bothered me. Lastly, I'm the first to admit when I'm wrong so we'll see what happens with either player. I am done with Jalen unless the Rockets actually make him accountable for when he's bad. I also think Jabari deserves another year because it's possible he becomes a sniper.
My favorite part of Twitter is certainly the people that put "NBA" in their name so they can online cosplay being an insider.
Even if the KD deal doesn’t get done, the Rockets will probably have to attached assets to trade him because his value is worse than a lot of us thought.
Nah, we just live in CF land where people are trash/bust/completely useless and also the valuable piece you send out in a trade for a star. It's hilarious how many people keep putting Jalen and FVV as the centrepiece of trades, one of whom nobody wants and the other of whom nobody wants but Ime and he wants him A LOT lmao.
Also, how they put things into their own words, or omit details. "Wants no part of him." Well, they don't need another 2 guard. "No one willing to offer significant assets." I guarantee you he doesn't know this. For all we know, a deal cannot be announced or consummated until or after draft night, anyway.
No he was not? He also didn't win ROY? Where are you getting that from? Giannis averaged 6 points per game his rookie year.
Pretty sure you are misreading stats from basketball-reference. He was seventh in ROY voting (hence ROY-7) and seventh in MVP voting at 22 (hence VMP-7).
Teams wanted to store Giannis in Europe for a year or two before bringing him to the NBA (and having to pay him). The sole reason he dropped all the way to #15 is because he said "ain't no way" to that idea.
THIS IS THE ONE THAT CRACKS ME UP!! From Shadab Khan! Something is telling me he might be a little bias
What if PHX is playing 4d chess out there?? "Green a negative asset" So they shop around and end up trading Durant to Spurs for Castle/#14/Barnes/ Johnson. And then Come back to us with Booker for Green/Jock/#10/2027 and 2029 picks. They can draft the big they want at 10 or 14 and farm their young guys up for more picks. Rebuild underway. Could even feature some young dudes in 25/26 and talk to Washington about their other picks?!? **of course they are morons who want to build around Booker, and so won't do anything of the sort.
Lol so they'd have a Green/Castle backcourt? Lol holy ****, that's guaranteed to land them years of top draft picks
“Shadab Khan is a Pakistani international cricketer who plays for the Pakistan national cricket team.”
yea I read too fast; that's what happens when you are in a meeting presenting. Yea he went 7th in mvp, then 6th, then two mvps and a dpoy. If you traded jabari today, no one would build their team around him. Not saying he's not tradable or can't improve but he wouldn't fetch say a bane type of return in a trade
