    There are only a limited number of scenarios.

    Either US intelligence is accurate and Israel gambled on pulling us into the conflict;

    US intelligence is not accurate AND Israel did not share their intelligence with us;

    Israel doesn't care if Iran doesn't have the capability, they want to bomb Iran because they have too much influence in the region....


    Regardless -- we have been misled.

    Bibi was on suppose to go on trial for his criminal case the exact week Israel bombed iran.... you're forgetting the most obvious scenario in which bibi is trying to save his career as PM.

    His approval rating was at all time lows as the gaza war dragged on with no end in sight

    It is indeed crazy, but don't blame the Pentagon for it. Their job is to put together plans to successfully complete objectives, if what it would take is a nuke that's what they should say.

    I could only imagine the target American citizens would carry on their backs if Trump were to do something like that.

    Having said that and knowing how little he cares for everyday Americans, I wouldn't be surprised if the POS did it.

    The president has zero authority under the constitution to declare war on a sovereign nation. Congress is the only branch that can declare war. Trump cant bomb Iran without congress..

    the reason why we don’t use nukes is because it’s very messy, not because it’s effective. We have more effective weapons than nukes.

    using a nuke to blow up a mountain is very effective and one of the few best use cases for nukes.

    A nuke specifically as an option, or is nothing off the table? 'Nothing is off the table' is the standard answer to every question about what's on the table for the Pentagon and the administration.
