crooked numbers in the 6th with 2 outs. it's been a while since they've done something like that huh?
Just think if we didn't give those 2 games to Seattle early in the year, we'd be up 8.5 over Angels, 9 over Rangers, 9.5 over Mariners.
- season-high 20 hits - Cam is rolling (.771 OPS) - Peña un-slumps (for now at least) with 3 hits - Leverage guys get rest - Yordan gripping bats - season-high 12 games above 500 - season-high 5.5-game division lead - Astros now 2nd in the AL
journey to 0.500 road record. currently sitting at 16-18. hopefully they'll be at 0.500 or above it after this road trip.
2nd best record in the AL. No Bregman, no Tuck, basically no Yordan, low lows for some key guys, injuries galore. No f*ckin problem. I'm eating crow right now. Testament to the pitching staff. It's been next man up.
With some better sequences could have been a 15-20 run game, but good lord does the ball fly out of there. Will take the win though!
Totally missed the game and fell asleep early after watching “RV Nightmare” videos on YouTube. I did learn that buying a new RV is an exercise for the financially insane. Good game, Astros!
Like boat owners say "The happiest time of a boater's life are when they buy a boat, and when they finally sell it"
Dem Astros making me feel good love to see this team getting it done, seems like the best vibe we’ve had in the clubhouse in awhile. All last year I felt the vibe was not good for whatever reasons.
The pitching has mainly carried all year so now that they are hitting we are seeing the results. It’s the A’s at a minor league park but still impressive. One of the easiest schedules left the rest of the year, the team should now be eyeing the top spot in the AL.
