What was the point of introducing the sister only to kill her 5 minutes later???
    The leader died far too easily . . .. bang .. that's it . . .mid sentence???
Had they let the sister live .. . a team up would have been nice for the next movie
now. . . no idea where they go from here.

They left alot on the table

    Agreed across the board....

    Also,

They set up this assassin death cult but never really explain much about them. They kill for sport but want to create a community for assassins to start families?? They could have dug into that a tad bit more along with more Gabriel Byrne's character before getting unceremoniously getting blasted....

I honestly was more excited when Wick was on screen. Action was acceptable...no idea why people didn't like it. It's an action flick; it is what it is.

Saw this over the weekend. Really, really wish I hadn't watched the previews as they spoil a lot of the best action sequences.

I will echo others' comments on some aspects of this being weirdly half-baked. I guess I'll spoiler the rest for those that haven't seen it:

I have no clue what that cult was about. I guess they were doing contract killing (as it appears roughly 25% of the world population does in the John Wick universe), but they also sometimes just kill for fun, which is what makes them bad guys? But we never really see that. We only ever see them killing in order to get their own people back in the fold. So the good/bad lines feel a little strange on this one.

I also thought it was weird to even bother having the sister side plot. It amounts to nothing. She doesn't even have a moment of "oh noes! Grandpa never actually cared about me because he grenaded the building I was in as soon as it suited him." Instead she just sort of dies, and there really isn't even much of a moment for Anna de Armas because she admitted as a child she didn't even remember her sister. Just felt odd.

Additionally, they had that moment during her training where she says to "fight like a girl" and she proceeds to kick the dude in the balls. I kind of assumed that would manifest itself in her fighting throughout the rest of the movie but it didn't seem like it. I kept waiting for her to have an opportunity to kick her grandfather in the balls during their final confrontation but instead -- head-shot -- conflict over.

Anyway, I love the grenade-related action. Loved the flamethrower fight. Loved everything that involved John Wick (though his logic for coming to stop her, then giving her until midnight, then sort of helping her felt weirdly confusing). Probably could have cut a lot out of this and not missed anything.

    yea

It is weird that the "killing cult" is a bad guy when you are form a "killing ballet company"
Like . ..they all murderers . .. hell the Cult had an "honor code" and "family"
(hell if we know what those are )
I already spoke on the Sister being a big nothing burger

John helping her I took to be like Willem Defoe helping in him in the 1st one
