All they had to do was just have Blade kill vampires and then face off against a stronger vampire aka the villain of the movie.... It was diversity included!!! No need to assemble.....

Yes, because that book is never coming out, GRRM will die first trying to milk every dollar he can out of TV show rights and having other authors write short stories for him.
I'm pretty sure GRRM has a deal with Joe Abercrombie to finish his books when he kicks off. Thing is, GRRM has looked like he was one cheeseburger away from a heart attack for 25 years. The guy is immortal.
Well, at least it will be finished. I think when Robert Jordan died I think Brandon Sanderson did an excellent job finishing the series, as Jordan didn't seem to know how to finish it. I've never read Joe Abercrombie, but hopefully it's the same situation.
