F no, Jalen and Bari is crazy enough then to throw in Jalen's possible replacement in Cam is sick.

Rather have Bane than FVV now, but who would not. Probably not for the pickz.

That’s why I want the Rockets to turn their attention to Boston and go after Derrick White instead of dealing with the delusional owner of the Suns.

Usually the Knicks can’t help themselves with an aging star

Seems like this is going to be exactly like the Kyrie deal where the media overprices it to make it exciting but it ends up happening much cheaper. If you look at articles before that trade, no one thought it was possible to get Kyrie for 1.5 picks and fillers.

You have to understand the for the media, they NEED big stories in the summer. They're trying everything in their power to keep traffic up when there's no basketball going to be played for months. When Giannis dropped out of trade news, they went into emergency mode. So now they're stuck with a 37 yr old Durant as their biggest story. They have to now fake things to generate clicks. They have to fake the price tag. They have to throw teams with big fan markets into the news so that they get clicks from those markets - even if those teams have a 1% chance.

A summer where the biggest trade is 1.5 picks from either Houston or San Antonio is a catastrophe for clicks. They are so busy in their rooms manufacturing stories that a 4-pick trade of Bane took place right under their noses without any rumors beforehand. If they were actually doing any semblance of journalism, that wouldn't happen.

FVV, Whitmore, Landale and #10 is the offer. If the Spurs want to top that offer, it's ok let them have him. We're not giving up our 23 year old leading scorer. We're not giving away 5 guaranteed years of 22 year old Jabari Smith either. If we want to trade those guys, there are better targets than Durant. The whole point of Durant is to add him and only lose the least efficient player in the starting lineup (FVV).

I could see Charlotte viewing FVV as a leader who could come in and help the Hornets culture like he did with the Rockets.

I'm thinking we probably won't get KD, and Stone will end up trading #10 away for future picks so that he can resign FVV and stay under the luxury tax. This would make me sick.

I can't ever tell what's sincere and what's a joke on the internet anymore.

Would y’all have traded Jalen Green and a few picks for Desmond Bane?

I feel like that would’ve been a significant upgrade

    FVV/Reed
    Bane/Holiday
    Amen/Tate
    Bari/Tari
    Sengun/Adams

Ngl the Luka trade and now the Bane trade happening without any of them even having a hint about it must annoy them to no end.

It was sincere, why would the Knicks commit that kind of salary and give away a key piece for a 37 year old? They just made the ECF.
