Funny how some posters treat PFF as gospel until they ranked CJ 14th. Truth is that site is just a reference point in a bigger picture. Take their grades with a grain of salt. Although CJ was a middle of the pack QB last year.
He worked for PFF for 3 years between his time with Washington and San Francisco. From Wikipedia: "Following his stint with the Redskins, Slowik spent 2014 through 2016 as an analyst with sports analytics company Pro Football Focus.[5] Slowik worked as a senior analyst at PFF, responsible for grading NFL players and reviewing the grading of other analysts."
I don't think anyone can argue that Lassiter showed great improvement between the start and end of his rookie season. So looking forward is fun seasoned with a little fear from the curse of many Houston prospects from all teams who disappoint for some reason, whether it be regression or injury or both.
