That’s the price to pay if your player package is poop poop platter. You either pay thru picks or pay thru including blue chips. But again some turd of our own fanbase is proposing Green + Whitmore + Eason + Scrubs + 10th + FUTURE Suns FRP for a senior citizen so what do I know
I mean come on, he shot better on higher volume from literally every spot on the floor (drives, pull ups, catch and shoot, midrange, corner, above the break). He had a way higher FG% on 5 more shots. FVV is a short old player. These notoriously break down super fast. Even if it was an especially funky year, the previous season's %'s are long gone and not coming back. Jalen Green is a guy who improved TEN percent on his catch and shoot last summer. Think about that for a second. If Dillon Brooks improved 10% on his catch and shoot, his overall 3PT% becomes 50%. I get your making a subjective assessment, but consider how unlikely it is.
I like your plan of trading Tari Eason for a haul like Bridges. Now you just have to make it realistic...
a lot to give up for Bane, but he’s a very nice fit next to Paolo and Franz Magic still need an actual PG tho
Damn, Bane is a great player but that's a lot. Magic might be one player away forever since they left nothing in the bank. Can we for the love of god see if JJJ is available now? THAT would be better than getting Durant, would pay a PREMIUM for that guy. A guy that can play stretch 4 on offense and be our elite rim protector on defense. They must want a hell of a lot for him though.
“You just posted a chart showing Mikal being better than Tari his entire career per game.” This is what one takes away after seeing this graph lol. I give up. Energy vampire arguing with a fool. FWIW guy is proposing Jalen Green Cam Whitmore Tari Eason Salary Fillers Suns 10th AND Suns FUTURE FRP for Durant lmao. Makes the Orlando package for Desmond Bane looks like garbage.
The 2 great players they have did score even without spacing, that what scorers do. It's the rest of the roster that were absolute useless zeros
LOL! Paolo Banchero's TS% is the same as Jalen Green's. Nice try though. The Orlando Magic fan base is livid at his efficiency, the lack of spacing and how his on/off numbers don't show him to be critical on the floor. In other words, the only other playoff team with desperately bad spacing is seeing the same morphed advanced numbers as us. But don't worry about that. Try looking for something cherry-picked, it would be better for your narrative.
Paolo and Franz are both below average three point shooters and can't play center defensively. As such, the Magic typically play 2 or less shooters at a time when Paolo and Franz are out there. Franz looked a lot better when Paolo was hurt. They could be a part of the problem, and if they are a big part of it, they are toast regarding fixing it. I think Bane helps them, but doing a finishing move to have 1 or 2 three point shooters around a couple of weak shooters that has been worse offensively together than Amen and Sengun by about 6 points per 100 possessions is weird. Maybe Paolo and Franz play better than they have. Personally, if they were in the west, this trade probably seals them to play in or worse unless Paolo actually plays efficiently for which he likely needs to shot threes better.
If this is their last move then yes the roster still sucks I'm assuming it isn't. They still have individual players who have trade value. Their players don't all suck, they just fit very poorly. A stretch 5 absolutely should be their primary target.
I can understand that considering you think that package is worth 7 first rounders. It's not though..
Just an immense overpay. This is very bad for the Rockets as well. That 2026 Phx pick is absolute gold. Memphis now has a hell of a war chest to get better.
