    You’re right but the only path from theocracy to secularism in Iran is through their own internal politics. External actions like what Israel just did have cemented another 20 years for the regime if it survives and from yesterday’s Iranian response it probably will.

    It seems that the Israeli air defenses have been turned off.

    I saw a quote that resonates with this and any future conflicts we or our proxies fight: All technological advantages are meaningless when trying to fire an empty magazine.

    If Iran is spending $20k per drone to Israel spending $1 million per Sling missile, and only hundreds of these anti missile missiles can be built a year, then eventually Iran will have free reign with their cheap loitering drones.

    Yep exactly, we or any of our allies cannot survive a war of attrition under these circumstances. Our supply chain/manufacturing capabilities simply cannot keep up and it's entirely too costly.

    And yeah the idea of reaching out to Putin to be a peacemaker while actively fighting a proxy war against him is mind-boggling.
