I doubt he'll be held out of every B2B, but he definitely ain't gonna play anything close to 82 games.
Not a bad deal, but we need a bigger move in the offseason. I would be pretty disappointed if we stand pat again.
So Adams consumed the FA money? Only options now for upgrades is internal growth, draft prospect or trades?
I'm glad to have him back, but fully guaranteed and no options isn't ideal. But good to have him anyway!
we got him for less than the MLE. Even if he gets hurt mid-way into the contract he won’t be hard to move. I feel like this worked out about as well as it realistically could have.
They just need a better game plan. Adams is still young enough to train hard to be even better around the rim. Him and Sengun should work on timing when they are together on the floor.
Just read that hes never tested free agency. Hes always resigned with his current team before actually hitting the open market. Maybe shouldve saw this one coming.
I don't give Stone a lot of props when it comes to deals but this is a good deal. Front loaded and right about where Adams is worth as long as he stays healthy.
Agreed. Now the same logic needs to be applied to FVV. Canvas his value on the market and make an attractive offer based upon his market reality (which is not that high). To pay wildly over the market is absurd, yet the inflated numbers generally associated with a FVV -Rockets deal ignore the actual FVV market which is set by the other 29 teams.
